As long as the RNG doesn't give Cerberus, I think it's a fantastic deal.
This is exactly why I take some sort of secondary weapon on gimmick range kits. If you're focusing on CQC, at least take an Ultra Light Locust so you're not stuck waving your fist around at those Rocket Troopers while you're sitting in the Hack Circle. Or if you can't safely cross an open area like Hydra or whatever.
You know you can search or pre set whatever combo you want yes? solves these problems.

I still did fine. I was set up for all organic damage with the Scimitar as my only weapon. You know how many headshots it takes to take down one pyro with the Scimitar?

Collectors aren't that bad on Gold or Platinum outside of the punishing wave eight and ten on both. If you nuke those waves generally they get a lot easier. Ten can be a PITA on Plat depending on the objective but that's mainly due to scumbag primes.

I would like to add that on plat w4 can be annoying to, 2x scion 2x banshee 2x captain x turian that can roll and have pfukyouston 500.

True. The budget cap isn't too awful there though, you can get through that "fairly" quickly. The Marauders and Captains can suck if you get a terrible map.

Yeah... no. The bugs pull more **** on Silver than Cerberus does on Gold and I'm quite serious here.
That and being PS3 peasant, they are more deadly for my console than logic is to catgirls.

Console aside, it takes three Collector units just to add up to the scumbaggery of one Cerberus unit (Phantom).
Throw in invisible turrets, loolgoon run-and-gun sniper like accuracy. Centurions throwing smoke bombs out of their arses and the ever present threat of heat-seeking, corner turning Atlas smart rockets and you have a faction which makes Collectors refreshing to play by comparison.
Console aside, it takes three Collector units just to add up to the scumbaggery of one Cerberus unit (Phantom).

I'll give you phantoms and even they are made joke with proper setup, even on host. The rest of it, I don't mind. Nowhere near as much as butt lazzorz, space bees, laser guided grenade spam from across the map and who knows what else.

I'd like to add another thing:
Cerberus can shoot with perfect accuracy through smoke. That's BS on a whole new level.
Outside of being the best faction for speedrunning, there is nothing good about cerberus. Collectors are indeed refreshing to play.
