That is indeed who they modeled Default MaleShep after... His name is Mark Vanderloo if I'm not mistaken, hence why you'll see the default MaleShep called Sheploo (Shepaloo?) around these here parts.

I never cared for the cookie cut image of ME heroes. Mine got serious face changes during the log in/design phases of the game. Both male and female sheps got intensely homelyfied.. lol Really though, I couldn't imagine what humans actually would look like a million years in the future. I kind of doubt that ball games/sports would be a major factor in their up-bringing? (many if not most kids today rely on video/computer aided generalized activities to keep them engaged, ftld, other planets and different/extra terrestrial cultural involvement would, could interfere with game time?)
