If these are BoS under the control of Elder Lyons we already knows he operates differently than their West Coast brothers. Much to their dismay and others around him.
He can die in FO3.

As someone who has legitimately never played a Fallout before, color me intrigued by this one. Looks so colorful and vibrant.
Because if they found a airship they would horde it, not flaunt it around like a giant dick.
thats where context comes in to play, for all we know they are being invaded by Hitler's zombie deathclaw army
Wow. Talk about being super excited for a trailer and losing all my interest during it. This trailer was bad.
If Bethesda wanted a mobile fortress. this would have fitted with the setting better and been cooler.

I'm not sure what to think about the trailer , felt a bit like a love letter to FO3 and a bit of FO: NV (saw an eyebot).
I like the big ship , and one of the city street looked nice with all the neons sign.
Also gosh what's the deal with those vault guys and their dogs...they're everywhere.
Anyway I'm looking forward to see some gameplay and in game footage.
Not really sure either whether I like it or not. Hype is not really going for me yet. It looked decent but not too special, same for the 'vibe' of the trailer. I do very much like that it's a bit more colourful than FO3 but still seems quite bleak in a way.
Seriously the vault dude and the dog.. that's been all over FO3 and I've seen enough of that tyvm.
The ship looked fantastic, I'm betting it's one of a kind and kinda hoping we'll get to either build it up throughout the game, or it's not friendly and we'll get to take it down.
Anyway I'll reserve judgement and hype until more is known about gameplay, story, and more footage is available. If anything, this did make me want to fire up NV and play some of the dlc ![]()
Anyone want Vault 111 to be extremely messed up?
Like...maybe it's overrun with crime, or drugs, or have Hunger Games-ish mentality or something to it
101 was a normal vault, a good one...cept the fact the Overseer would never let it open............
They'd probably use it to search for more technology.Because if they found a airship they would horde it, not flaunt it around like a giant dick.
Looks pretty nice actually for bethesda game. Engine is good old improved creation engine and thats good thing. Its so easy to mod.
Im pretty sure we can run it with high end gpu easily with 4k 60fps.
I guess we got new game of the year? ![]()

I sort of have my finger crossed for a mobile home.
I had a van mod in FO:NV , I have no idea how my courrier managed to drive around with roads like these (I think there were cars in FO2?) but anyway the van : ![]()
It was hilarious to think about my van , that thing was so loaded with gunpowers , grenade and stuff it could have blown half of the Mojave.
But it was a great way to fast travel .

Yes. I want vault 111 to be twisted as all hell.
While i got thrilled while watching the trailer(And yeah i don't watch trailers but made an exception this time) and while i liked it as whole voiced character thing with Bethesda's general storytelling or lack there of, makes me wonder about the game.
If player talking is "trailer only" that's fine but otherwise i doubt Bethesda can manage do it as good as Bioware. And even Bioware's voiced over dialogue has problems after 10 years of experience.
Hope it'll be closer to New Vegas than Fallout 3. Wasted too much time on both but Fallout 3 was but "meh" and i'm being kind to Bethesda. (Still FO3 was light years ahead of Oblivion)
Skyrim was nice but lacked in atmosphere and story telling part.
Probably FO4 will gain many rewards and get a high metascore but so did Oblivion and FO3. So i think i will wait and watch closely.
Can't wait for possible Obsidian sequel. Now that will be a thing to pre-order for me.
Beth protags are always advertised male.=/
The protag being voiced eh I'm not happy but I'll take it.
But if the protag is voiced and set as male I'm out. I don't need that set character in my Bethesda games.
*sigh*
I'll be elated if this game actually runs without crashing and bugging-out constantly.
Couldn't even play FONV because it was impossible to be able to walk five steps without getting stuck in a rock.......
Wow the attitude in here is really bummer. Gonna go to a psyched forum instead
I really really really really hope they work on hairstyles!
If they are giving us a spouse and child like the "leak" hinted at, I hope they don't intend to just drop them on our lap and expect us to care about them.
Don't get why people want silent protagonist so badly. They are a dying breed people, come on...
Now about the trailer.
I really liked how the world looks a lot more colorful. The dog is very well animated, and I hope that means dog will be an companion we get more attached to. I'm also crossing my fingers for at least some sort of prologue to see the dawn of modern civilization. I also really appreciate how they kept 100% faithful to the design of the previous two games. Hopefully the gameplay and combat will pretty fluid in this game.
All in all, looking foward for this game.
In California people had clean water long before Project Purity happened. They also had large, clean cities, electricity, democratic government, advanced trade...
But for some reason, several decades after that, area around DC is still in stone age, doesn't have clean water and live in dirty huts.
And the most advanced city is a reused ship.
And DC itself is an irradiated ruin that no one inhabits.
It does seem like they're showing what Fallout universe should really look like in year 2280+ in this trailer though.
Well dc should be really far behind because that would be where the most nukes should drops and the Vault tec people are incredible huge A******* that like seeing who people react instead of making sure people survive here are a few examples Like a vault filled with clones of the same dude we all should remember vault 112/ tranquility lanes Vault 106 which had drugs being pump into 10 days after closing causing everyone to go crazy and all of these are just in the dc area and one last one in the dc area is 101 the one that was never suppose to open

Depends on the game. Sometimes silent is best sometimes voiced.
If they are giving us a spouse and child like the "leak" hinted at, I hope they don't intend to just drop them on our lap and expect us to care about them.
50 bucks says they die in the prologue
Looks like Bethesda got the memo that Fallout is about society rebuilding itself not society just coming out after a post apocalyptic shyt-fan.
Will be hella fun either way.
