Is it just me or do I feel like we should expect little more than an underwhelming re-skinned Skyrim?

Eh. Even if it is, I'll take it. After all, FO3 was a re-skinned Oblvion. And as much as I did not like what FO3 did to the FO atmosphere, Oblvion is pummeled viciously and ruthlessly by Skyrim in terms of being better.

I'll do what I always do. Go back to not thinking about it. We're years away, regardless, so not much point in getting hyped for something that is a long way away and whose quality is a complete mystery.

 

I'm not much use in conversations about hype, obviously.

Good. Now let's hope they can actually learn something from Obsidian's Fallout: New Vegas and design a Fallout game that has something interesting and thought provoking to show us beyond just it's setting.

I'm better off thinking that we're at least 2 years away. That way, if it comes sooner, it's a nice surprise!

While, Fallout: New Vegas was superior to 3, in my opinion. I am not against having Bethesda do Fallout 4 and the reason for that is it beats the hell out of getting nothing. Fallout 3 was good in its own right, I just hope that Bethesda doesn't make another children run community or if they do, they let us kill children like we could in Fallout and Fallout 2. Nothing ruins me role-playing a madman who sets out to destroy all civilization quicker than running into an indestructible village where I can kill the two dogs at best.
