Overall I'm interested, but I'm mixed on this right now. It's more of 'FO3 is coming again!' rather than 'Fallout: New Vegas is coming again!' One was nice and enjoyable- the other was great.
Voiced protag is the biggest concern. I'm not terribly interested in having a canonical voice, and I think voiceless protags are better in Bethesda-style games.
I'm also not sold on being (another) Vault boy. I just don't feel it, and I think the Vault boy signature look is annoying. I did like the garrage aescetic- the only good thing of the Vault suits is that they make good tinkerer gear- but as far as PC roles I prefered being a wastelander as the Courier to a defined backstory.
Being a Bethesda game, I'm always skeptical about character casting. Looks kind of like there might be a family plot of sorts. That'... hit or miss. I've also yet to be impressed by a Bethesda companion system- I'm not expecting anything close to FNV's companion cast.
That all said...
Appalachia looks nice- and so does actual plants and trees. Vegas desert was almost as bland as FO3 radioactive green.
Looks like they've tried to smooth out the graphics a bit. Hopefully that's in the gameplay as awell and not just cinematic.
The images of towns looks promising. Not sure I'd call it 'civilization,' but it's a good start;
