I'd like a better crafting system

 

I toyed with bullets in NV, but never did much

 

never used my survival skill or anything 

 

I'd also like to see light power armor

The most annoying thing of the crafting system in FNV for me was finding the ingredients.

 

It was really annoying to me that there weren't 'trash' vendors who could reliably be expected to have various things you needed, and those that did by the RNG rarely had it in enough bulk to be particularly helpful. Especially since I had a hard time even finding various ingredients in the first place, such as various fruits/vegetables to make the 'better' meals or the casings and powder to make custom ammo.

 

Old World Blues helped with that a bit- the green house garden where you could convert one plant into another, or grow your own, the various crafting recycle stations- but there was still always the occassional 'trash item,' the sort you'd never pick up in the wild and carry around unless you were looking for it at that moment, that was almost impossible to find when you realized you actually wanted it.

 

I hope FO4 has some specialized crafting/'trash' vendorss just to help with that. By the mid/end game you're usually swimming in caps regardless except to buy more top-tier ammo or repair your top-tier weapons, so it wouldn't hurt much.

Fallout 4 just his Steam. Can be pre-ordered right now. Which probably means the game isn't far from being released.

Meh, people can rage about the graphics all they want. Meanwhile, I will be playing FO4 having a blast as I melt enemies with plasma weaponry.

If you watch a HD version of the trailer and not the youtube one, you can see that the graphics are actually pretty damn amazing. Atleast they showcase us what we can expect and not what will never come to be.

I think the game looks pretty good, and don't think that every game needs to be mind blowing when it comes to graphical fidelity. I find aesthetic to be far more important.

 

That said, some of the textures in the trailer do look unfinished. It's almost as if some stuff is made out of plastic.

 

but I imagine that'll be changed for the release. If not, there's always the modding community.

 

Also: No trailer online should be fully trusted when it comes to graphical fidelity. Even a HD version that's not hosted on YouTube will be compressed to some extent. It'd be multiple GB in file size otherwise.
