But are you ready for the inevitable plethora of bugs and glitches though? Quality Assurance isn't in Obsidian's dictionary.

You either get Shallow bethesda implementation or buggy implementations. Damn. This **** is not good.

I know people like to slam New Vegas for the bugs, but I never experienced anything half as annoying as the kaleidoscope bug or immortal ghoul reavers from 3.

Kind of a golden rule with Bethesda games. Wait awhile before buying, and give it time for bugs to get fixed.

My Skyrim is already modded as a FPS though  :P although FC3 does it alot better. I vastly preferred NV to Fallout 3 and would prefer Obsidian to develop the next game is all.

I think I remember seeing a few rifle and pistol mod videos on Youtube now that think about it. The PC environment is pretty cool in that regard.

And for mods to fix lulzy game design choices.

Bethesda or Obsidian? Pick your poison, tell me what you want

Everybody gon' respect the funk

But the one that puts out the good game lives forever

And I been designing all day, this a way, that a way

Through bad bugs and marketing just to say

A good game is the perfect way to fame and that's just how I feel

The state of modern software is laughable. "Let's release a semi working product and we can fix it later." Anyway, let me not get started. It is neither the place or time

DSP would be actually telling the truth this time around when he inevitably fails at the game.

Yeah it just shows laziness.

I never had many bugs in either 3 or NV, zero in skyrim too but then I guess i'm lucky. Buggiest game i've ever played is assassins creed 3, literally constantly breaking was a feature!

FO3 and FNV never been buggy for me either, had the occasional crash, but that i expect. Skyrim was stable when i didn't mod it, with mods however it is a mess. Bethesda did all their playtesting for Skyrim in the team, never had people coming in an playing it. Can be both bad and good. They definately play their games alot more than other developers do.

Bethesda did a one time courtesy for old Fallout fans and Obsidian in FONV and now the nuts think Bethesda is just going to hand over Fallout.

I played FO: NV and Skyrim a couple of years after their release ...so I didn't have a huge amount of bugs, a couple of CTD in both games and glitched quests in Skyrim (some of them I was able to fix using the console )

I'm a bit nervous about Bethesda creating FO4 , I never played FO3 , I watched some Let's Play on youtube , I liked the intro but then it went downhill , it felt like the guy  was spending his whole life killing super mutants in ruins .

I 'm not fond of big ruined cities , I enjoyed the Mojave desert in New Vegas  ...I think places are a bit cheesy in NV which I really enjoyed.

I think I'm going to be disappointed but I'm also going to have a lot of fun.

I wonder if there's going to be companions , I hope so I don't like playing a solo character.I want some meatshields even if they are as interesting as Lydia.

Better then crapping on the series like Bethesda.

What happens IF FO4 is an MMO

It was done with DC, Star Trek, Star Wars, ESO......

I could see the appeal.....but it's the 15 buck a month atop the 60 I pay for a new game that kills it for me

Bethesda didn't even make their original IP an MMO. Zenimax did. This is definitely a Bethesda made product. Have faith.

That's what Fallout 3 is - the Phantom Menace of the Fallout series.

Liam Neeson even dies....

There was even an entire town of a kid I hated in it.

Maybe 4 will be Attack of the Clones. Bad romances, two massive armies fighting each other and the villain escaping with the Death Star plans . Christopher Lee confirmed for Fallout?

Well technically Interplay did it far worst and I dare mention "THE BURNED GAME".

Is it just me or do I feel like we should expect little more than an underwhelming re-skinned Skyrim?

That is what I'm expecting.

Good. Now let's hope they can actually learn something from Obsidian's Fallout: New Vegas and design a Fallout game that has something interesting and thought provoking to show us beyond just it's setting.

And hope that they have more than 5 voice actors, and that they don't waste most of the budget aquiring some big stars to voice important characters...

Oh hell, who am I kidding. This is Bethesda, all of that's going to happen.

Funny, you are right, and I was wrong.

It is a different engine, although it doesn't in the slightest feel (at least for me) like a different engine.

I want some consequences to my actions. And I want an actual ending, showing the results of my choices.

It was probably the worst thing about Fallout 3. And Skyrim for that matter.

It has a new name, but it's the same engine.

If it suffers from the exact same engine bugs that the rest of Bethesda's RPGs suffer from, it's the same bloody engine. I don't care what name they decide to give it. It's just another of Tod Howard's misrepresentations.

But are you ready for the inevitable plethora of bugs and glitches though? Quality Assurance isn't in Obsidian's dictionary.

Are you implying that Bethesda is any better?
