Good to hear Fallout 4 finally confirm. Never played a Fallout game until just last year to be honest. I got NV and FO3. After playing them it really got hyped up for this game.

I always classify Beth as "engineers" while Obsidian as "artists". Beth designs stuff in technological way and try hard to ruin their own work with a "meh" story while Obsidian makes at least story and atmosphere parts shine. And Chris Avellone ftw!

100% agreed. I'd probably still end up getting it, though, if for no other reason than a little four-letter word. Starts with a "m" and an "o," ends with a "d" and a "s," and rhymes with "mods."

Great description there. I agree with most of it. Not sure if Bethesda ruin their games with a poor story, though. Sure the main story tends to be a bit lacking. But the side quests and things like that tends to be pretty great.

Some of Beth's side quests are pretty well written but they are very few and in many cases have **** endings. Skyrim being the worst case of this where you become the leader of pretty much everything.

You should kind of tell your own story in Beth games.
I always do. Even in New Vegas, my main story was me & Boone vs. Caesar's Legion. I was just hunting them all the time and preparing for an assault against their base.

I expected it to look much grittier with a brownish-yellow look like Fallout 3 did, but honestly it looks good in a totally different way.
