That's surprised me. Bloodborne just came out and already has an expansion planned. Strange news but not unwelcome by me. We already know From Software have a split team that can work on different games at a single time so perhaps this has been in development since Dark Souls 2 released and is set for a release in 2016/17.
 
The source is unlinked so VG247 could just be making up BS for clickbait.

• 1-to-4 players
• A sacrifice ritual allows you to enter other games, but puts a bounty on your head
• It’s now possible to create bonfires
• The world can be altered in ways that change the bosses you fight
• Players can equip “swordfighting arts” that act as special moves

Rumor has it Miyazaki is directing Souls 3 which is great news for those of us without a ps4.

Incidentally, I'm liking Bloodborne more than any of the Dark Souls games so I'm not that big on a third game. I'll pass and see what else there is.. if anything, E3 isn't exactly the most exciting event much worth of anything.

Looks like he's giving me a thumbs-up or something. As far as the game itself, I'm curious how they're going to handle the story for the 3rd - Number Two was essentially iterative of Lordran, building off of a dead Kingdom - will they still keep it in the universe or switch it up entirely? Fairly happy with the new ideas - the sword-in-the-ground thingamabob seems like a more intriguing version of the bonfire ascestic. Sounds good to me.
