...And?

Not even worth the effort. If a Dalish clan happens to ruin the fields of some peasant or lord, sure, send the soldiers to move them/deal with them.

But we have no real account of that. The general knowledge we have about the Dalish is that they are wary of humans and avoid them. Exception being some clans trade with humans, and some are more hostile.

I suspect Darkspawns and general banditry are a more dire problem than the Dalish, if only because many sources indicate that they are so few in numbers. Encountering them is so rare that city Elves revere/fear them and even scholars have very few informations on the Dalish (see TME).

Hopefully Gaspard will fix that issue in Orlais

Equally difficult with a dirk in the kidney... Just ask Celene.

The only ending that Morrgian does not talk about an impending doom waiting for Orlais is Celene and Briala united.

Celene alone starts to lose influence in the court.

Gaspard does not have it to begin with.

Briala through Gaspard makes nobles very angry.

Reunion is the best choice in terms of stability in Orlais.

Like I would care what some swamp witch says in a 15 second clip that doesn't even matter.

Besides its about time Orlais put the absolute back into Absolute Monarchy.

How do you know it doesn't even matter? And it might be 15 seconds, but that 15 seconds sums up what your Inquisitor worked for through entire duration of each PT.

Lol, so? We're yet to find out which decisions and how they matter in new game. I assume that changes will have SOME effect at least... thought it would be HILARIOUS if it turned out that a few questionable choices will basically result in world exploding.

Ehhh... I go with reconciliation as my end choice but the epilogue does say that people wonder if their reunion will truly last (which they aren't wrong to wonder that cause there is a lot of baggage between Celene and Briala).

It's true, but the implication is that things are somewhat less fragile than in other configurations.

Consider the mighty Empire of Orlais, where Gaspard has ascended to the golden throne.

He rules unopposed. Each noble house that rises up against him soon realizes it has made its last mistake.

Sounds stable enough to me.

Unopposed rule can only really be taken one way :P

Yes, because nobility rising against Gaspard doesn't speak of upcoming problems at all. You also don't mention the other part of epilogue, dependent on relationship with Inquisition/war table missions completed. None of them is too optimistic.

It really doesn't considering even in the text itself they are defeated.

Which no surprise there.

A Emperor beloved by the military and military inclined nobility.

Good luck deposing him.

He's beloved by Chevaliers, but not entire military - Civil War would be impossible if Celene was left without any troops to send against Gaspard.

And problem is Gaspard doesn't even have to be deposed by Orlesians. I mean, I'm not sure if Orlais alone would be able to protect itself from, say, Qunari Invasion, especially if Gaspard will make enemies out of nobles, elves, Ferelden and, possibly, Inquisition (or Inquisitor - the only power left standing in Southern Thedas, according to Leliana - won't be coming to Emperor's rescue, for whatever reason).

How the elves or Ferelden can help against the Qunari? The elves are fighting a guerrilla warfare, they are by no means crucial for Orlais, they arent going to be the tip of the balance.
Ferelden is extremeis weak, they still have not recovered from the Blight, they dont have the men needed to wage war against anyone.

If Gaspard conquer Ferelden and make it a vassal state, they can be more useful against the Qunari, giving free acess to the Orlesian troops in Ferelden soil.

Geography my friend.

Look at the map.

There is no easy invasion point of Orlais, to steam a armada that far south? To cross the free marches and waking sea...or Tevinter and Nevarra?

The Qunari wouldn't reach Orlais in shape enough to conquer it...or likely even threaten it.

That's assuming they'd march through Teinter and Nevarra/Free Marches, instead of deploying an armada that will reach Waking Sea and have pretty sweet access to Orlais and everything that lays nearby. I kinda don't see anyone from Rivain stopping them, especially if their armada is big enough or they produce enough gattlok to just destroy everything on their path... and who know what else they may have prepared down their sleeve.

It won't be a surprise, and it won't arrive intact.
