Do you have a Gamecube?  You should get the Master Quest if you haven't ever played it.  A refreshing take on the greatest game of all time (sorry ME3).  I am such a Zelda nerd.

OT:  I agree, the Valiant is probably the best Sniper Rifle for power kits, either that or the Indra.  I still prefer other guns usually, but I have been known to dabble.  Special shot out to the Raptor.

Forget the N64 & GameCube versions. Get the 3DS version.

Drell Adept/Valiant is one of my favorite non-Infiltrator snipers.

Yep, I really like this combo too, and the Valiant and Kishock are the best non-Infiltrator sniper rifles IMO.  The only other non-Infiltrator sniper setups I ever use are the TSent with the Valiant or Incisor, the Collector with the CSR, the Salarian Engineer with the Valiant, or a couple of different classes with the Kishock.

Widow is also great on non-Infiltrators because you can still one headshot with Phasic III shielded mooks too.

Why?  So I can play on a tiny screen with slightly better graphics and shitty controls?  Nah, I'll take my Gamecube any day of the week.  Best system ever made.

Drell Adept is one of the only few kits I actually like the valiant on. Geth engineer is another.

I don't remember the last time I ran it, although when I loaded up my GE yesterday that was equipped.

Using it makes you appreciate how much they buffed the other rifles.

It is nuts that before the great sniper rifle buff, the BW and Valiant were not that far apart in damage. I'm still not quite sure how I feel about the Indra and Valiant missing out on the buffs.

With the proper setup, the Valiant is still powerful enough.  And it has a lot of pros too, lightweight, fast rate of fire, fast reload, no recoil.  As long as you are an Infiltrator with some sort of Shield Stripping Power it's a good rifle.  If you're not, then it is probably rather lackluster.

I'm not a big fan of the Indra but it's a neat gun, and probably good enough for the purpose.

I like it on both quarian infiltrators, but the QFI can generally only get two kills out of it in one cloak cycle against shields, because Sabotage takes a second for the backfire to strip them so the first target requires two hits. It always takes two hits vs most geth unless the gethsplosion manages to take shields completely off of a nearby platform.

QMI makes great use of it. Throw a grenade in the general direction of the mooks, then shoot each one in the face for very rapid OHK's. It's also light enough to still make good use of Tacticool Scan. I use a thermal scope and drill rounds because may as well have a wallhax rifle with wallhax grenades.

Cloak, grenades and sabotage are powers, right?

Don't, but we got her SNES and Mario 3 going too. :D[/quote]

Those were the days.... Crouching on a big white block so Mario could fall through it to claim a magical whistle.
Now that's what you call soft cover.

OT, find it fun on QMI

That's exactly how I play him, too. Well, except with Phasic Rounds.

I like the Valiant, I was just pointing out how it was the best SR back in the day, and then every other SR got buffed like heck.
