Matching your GT to your BSN display name

I was Yumi on here since Nov 2014, but today I changed my display name to my GT in hopes that some BSNers on PS4 might befriend me instead of kicking me QQ. I already miss Yumi though ._.

I don't share mine for the same reason...if people from BSN knew who I was on PC, they might kick me for no reason other than my self-proclaimed suckitude. ![]()

Oh, Yumi, we all know the real reason anyone would kick you from a lobby is because they are a Gator hater. ![]()
As for me, I like to think enough people can make the connection that DragonRacer13 on the Playstation is probably the same DragonRacer from BSN. I say that because I originally registered under my gaming name here many years ago, stupidly used an email address NOT associated with my EA account, and it caused a multitude of problems down the road and since the forum software at that time would not allow me to simply change my forum account to match my correct email address, I ended up abandoning that name and formed this one under the correct email address.
Sorta annoying, but eh. I've been tempted a few times to PM someone and see if they could delete the DragonRacer13 forum account and if doing so would then allow me to change this account to DragonRacer13 instead of DragonRacer... but at the end of the day, I am lazy and it's not a big deal, so I've not tried to open that can of worms with anyone. ![]()

I reject your change of name and will continue to refer to you as Yumi for as long as I remember to.I was Yumi on here since Nov 2014, but today I changed my display name to my GT in hopes that some BSNers on PS4 might befriend me instead of kicking me QQ. I already miss Yumi though ._.

Changed mine recently to my PSN name. My old one was my GT from xbawks tree siddy. I have my PSN in my signature, but apparently some people set signatures to ignore for some reason.

I recognize that name. Were we in some lobbies together this past weekend? Made my stuff match too, just seemed easier.

I was akots on the old black/blue Bioware forums. I was quite active back then and even tried to argue with Gaider about some issues in Baldur's Gate. When the new BSN emerged in around 2009, I was told that akots is already taken and apparently it were taken by me but I could not login or use it. So, I had to add 1 to it. Origin had no problem with akots and hence this little discrepancy came to be. Not that it really matters.

Yumi what have you done
Don't worry - ![]()
I'm using my highly useful attention seeking whorish ways; figured this would solve my problem of GT not matching BSN once the thread got popular enough, then I can go back to Yumi here. Broadcasting my ulterior motives - good god man, I really am the tart people think I am.
If I was smarter I guess I could have added it to my signature. But honestly, I don't want to taint the sanctity of Luke's Milkshake.

I had the tag long before joining the Bioware page
Its Domiel Angelus on Xbone/360 as well, and if I did PS3/PS4 or PC I'd probably get the name across all platforms.

Well mine is a made up name so I generally get it whenever I want to use it. Xbox 360 for me simply because I like controllers and love being a peasant. *holding out hope they re-release the next gen systems to accommodate those new 4k resolutions*

I have no idea how to change either. For obscure reasons my GT is my real name.

I use the same name everywhere, sometimes different permutations if a site/account/whatever, doesn't allow spaces, or requires underscores for spaces. So far, I've only had an issue with one other person accidentally using the same name, and they were nice enough to change theirs. I've been using it for almost almost 15 years at this point, so it's a bit hard to just switch up names.
Pretty easy to tell, because when I switch avatars/signatures or whatever, I generally theme them, and use the same, or similar ones, across every site I regularly visit.
