This topic is addressed to those players who have gone through the trilogy a number of times, trying out different variations of the story.
So far I have killed just about everyone there is to kill except Garrus. (I didn't see much point in killing him since all it does is reduce the content in ME3 without making any substantial changes to the story, except on Menea.)
I killed Tali once by siding with the Geth. This was actually an accident since I thought I would get an interrupt to stop the Geth VI before the Quarians were wiped out. I also intentionally killed her once during the SM so I could do the Rannoch arc without her. In both cases, however, I pretty much gave up on the playthrough very soon after Rannoch was over. Not having Tali around was depressing. So I won't be killing her again.
Wrex is an interesting case. I have killed him on Virmire a goodly number of times, but I can't bring myself to kill him in ME3. I have seen the confrontation on youtube and it is just too gut wrenching for me to endure in my own games. So if I know I will be sabotaging the cure with my current Shepard, then I usually kill him on Virmire. (Not recruiting him at all screws up the dialogue enough in ME3 that it is better to just recruit him and then kill him.)
For some reason, though, I don't have that problem with shooting Mordin. In the case of Mordin, I have no problems creating a Shepard that puts the value of sabotaging the cure above the value of friendship. If Mordin won't listen to reason and back off, well, I'm sorry Mordin, but I warned you. But betraying Wrex somehow goes too far.
