Does anyone expect Bioware to announce anything at EAs E3?

In thinking they might show off some new DAI DLC but I'm really wishing for some ME4 footage & a trailer.

Nope.

I don't follow ME4 , so I don't know if the devs said something?

So far it's quiet , too quiet for any announcement.

The only faint hope I have is that they pretty much have to show something for mere prestige alone.

Almost every major publisher/ majorly published studio quite literally brings their A-game for this one.

Yeah, you are probably right not to.

Anyway. Off topic, but your avatar looks like Adrian Brody's character from Grand Budapest hotel. Coincidence?

 It is a coincidence. I've not had the pleasure of watching that movie.

And on topic, odds favor some bit on next ME. I'd be surprised if there was anything Dragon Age related.

Having low expectations is a reasonable approach.
That said, I think it'd be a bad move to not show anything ME related. Un less The game's release is in 2017.

It's been more than 6 months since DAI came out. I think it's time they at least officially announce ME4 and the official title, though I'm not expecting any gameplay. We know it is in the works but I don't think it's been officially announced yet.

And if I'm not mistaken that is about the way they did it in the past: new DA game is released and in 6+ months new ME game is announced, new ME game is released and in 6+ months a new DA game is announced.

I doubt Electronic Arts would want any focus on DAI at E3 this year. DAI is out and it had its moment at both E3 2013 and E3 2014. Next up in the chute is Mass Effect 3 (as well as their unannouced new IP) so I expect those games, mainly ME4, to be the focus.

Perhaps come PAX Prime they might reveal something for DAI but again, I doubt it. These upcoming conventions would be used as a platform to promote Mass Effect 4.

Don't hold your breath for anything Dragon Age this E3. It's going to be about ME: Next for BioWare.

I suspect news about the next ME game at most.

I reckon they will do something for Mass Effect. It could either be a Mass Effect Remastered Edition (which would be absolutely f*cking insane!) or some more conceptual things for Mass Effect 4. Not getting my hopes up for anything gameplay wise, even though we have seen the new Mako driving around in a previous video. It's possible, but doubtful.

In terms of Dragon Age. They might announce what the DLCs will be. Just get it out there so that people who are, say, only interested in finding out what happens to Solas, know whether that is going to happen with DA:I or not. Really, just attempt to hold some more peoples interest over the coming months.

I've read various reports that suggest that the industry somewhat expects a ME4 announcement from Bioware at the very least?

Yes, a formal announcement with a teaser trailer of some sort similar to the E3 2013 DAI trailer with Morrigan speaking. Also some details regarding the story, setting, and who our hero will be.

With DAI, again, I doubt that Bioware will mention anything for DAI and for good reason, they dont want to canniblize their products. EA wants ALL attention on ME4 and if Bioware reveals any post DAI story DLC, that could divide the fanbase in terms of which game is the focus at E3. Now I doubt DAI could ever trump ME4 in anything, EA understands that E3 is a marketing bonanza and all DAI had its time in the sun now and its time to focus on Mass Effect 4.

I just dont see DAI DLC being revealed at any convention. Some of their biggest DLCs like Lair of the Shadow Broker and ME Citadel were never revealed at conventions.

I'm expecting either ME4 or DAI DLC.  If I get one or the other, I will be pleased.

I'd be happy if they do that. Again though, doubtful. As far as we know, they are still in the planning stages. Gaider has moved onto that team only recently, meaning they are still likely thinking of the best direction for it, in terms of writing. They could talk about it, but nothing would be solid yet, I think.

Bioware has always brought something to E3.  Mass Effect 4 seems the most likely candidate.  They've already shown that teasing trailer with Casey about ME and the new IP, I can't imagine they'd show nothing now.

I'd almost rather hear about the new IP, though that's less likely to appear.  I'd atleast like to get a genre out of the devs for that.

I have my fingers crossed for some info on ME Next, but other than that... I'm not expecting much.

Since Shadow Realms was discontinued, and the new (?) project / IP (?) where Gaider moved to is probably in too early stages for there to be any info on it, the most I'd expect (besides Mass Effect) would probably be some info on the future of the DA franchise - which is to say, plans for future DLC, and that's usually not the stuff you bring to E3, since E3 is the "big one" where you're supposed to make waves.

(Though I'm 1100% sure that Egg Hunt DLC would make some pretty epic waves in the BW fandom...)

If I had to guess, I'd say that we should expect at the very least an ME: Next trailer (with actual content).

If we are lucky, we'll get more about ME: Next and maybe a teaser for the new IP too.

I'm not expecting much more from them, though.  I'd be shocked if they didn't announce anything.  They are a major player in the industry and E3 kind of has the expectation of presenting something.

I hope they are releasing something about ME4. Something else than it will have lot of content to explore... I want story content this time not open-worldness.

I would love that, but I don't hold my breath over it. If they appear at E3, it will certainly be about ME4.
