PC pugs made me quit the system far sooner than the PS3 frame issues I experienced for nearly 2 years, but meh.

Playstyle or behavior? I have run into some pretty awful pugs, but I have yet to find any that were obnoxious or offensive.

It's an amalgamation of the two. PC had this rep for being silent, but I've never run into so many open mics in my life...and I played on xbox.

Yeah, the OP was asking about party chat, and since he comes from Xbox we understand that he means Xbox Live Party, i.e., friends-only group chat. So one can gossip about the pugs without them hearing![]()
Oh I don't mind them hearing, my only reason I like party chat is because of the annoying kinect on Xbox. The background noise is really unbearable on some people's kinect.

What difficulty I am curious because I can count on one hand how many pugs I have run into with mics. 360 was far worse for me.

There are quite a few open mics. They all seem to be next to fans, radios, screaming children or people who like to do heavy breathing to total strangersf. Technically that's still not talking though, so PC omerta is preserved.

That's probably a timezone issue then. Except for one guy today whose mic produced a quiet static hum (and he never said a single word) I haven't run into anyone using an open mic in months and I played a lot recently. Not that there were many who used a mic at all.

Maxing the manifest legit is the only way to go, can't stand credit hacking scrubs that fail miserably on gold/platinum, wtf is the point with that?

If you already spend 1000 hours on one system, and when you decide to upgrade you don't feel like grinding hundreds of hours away to unlock all the goodies again perhaps?

That's one thing yes, but I'm more referring to the TGI/Carrier X guys that finish platinum games with 30-40k score. What's the point in hacking the game to get the best gear (they don't deserve to begin with) going into difficulty level they can't handle.

The point is they fool you in the lobby into thinking they can handle it
So then instead of leaving the lobby you end up carrying them

Most pugs I run into play on the difficulties they can't handle without having maxed out gear anyway though... I honestly haven't really run into any pugs who had obviously hacked their credits so maybe I just haven't noticed it as much. Of course I also only play on gold so maybe it is worse in platinum.

Funniest case I've seen was a few days ago, a Puggernaut joined a Dagger/Reaper/Platinum game shortly after wave one started. I realized something was wrong when I noticed he was using the Black Widow. The brave Puggernaut parked himself in the center room the entire game, he didn't even bother to help out on objectives. After extraction I could see his BW was at X, but n7 120 and CP like 140. He managed to kill like 3 mooks during the entire game..... yeah bad pugs are bad even when the cheat to get the best stuff available

I just found a gaming mouse for a sweet deal on amazon. Now I'll have 5 buttons to map on the mouse, so hopefully this will make transitioning to a kb&m easier. Question, what button do you use to sprint, cover, roll?

Use the spacebar. I love the glorious ME3 omnikey, and have a callous on the right side of my thumb that is bigger than Schwarzenegger's biceps to prove it!

Be a hipster and use L-Shift, like me. Spacebar is for scrubs.
