So hear we are. A bunch of tired Spectres about to become Pathfinders. We've reflected on just about every topic as E3 approaches. It's time to take one last look at all of our favorite classes. Take a look and consider deeply which classes best reflect a Force of Nature. Feel free to add your own thoughts.

 

As the most important Force of Nature I will be looking at Lightning.

Look at that. Powerful and Beautiful. Terrifying yet mesmerizing.

When volcanoes want to appear more intimidating what do they do? Add Lightning.

 

So what class epitomizes Lightning? A simple man would chose the Quarian Infiltrator. Like Lightning it can appear out of nowhere and sear its enemies to ash. Not a terrible choice, but somewhat superficial. A Geth Infiltrator with some PBR is the hipster's choice. The Awakened Collector Adept's head looks like Raiden's hat (see fig 1) and that has to count for something.

 

We need something with unmatched speed, brutally effective and leaves a booming cacophonous chorus in its wake.

Meet the Drell Vanguard. Biotic Lightning.

GO LIGHTNING!

 

[Batarian Master Race]

Vorcha Soldier: Fire. Burns through enemies, gaining in power with each consumed foe. While it's fairly easy to put out, even a small portion of it left alive will soon ignite into a raging bonfire once more.

 

Krogan Soldier: Fire. As unstoppable as a wildfire and as hard to put out, the Krosol can blaze through legions of foes with Inferno Grenades and Carnage, creating explosions in its wake. Getting near him is a death warrant.

 

Batarian Sentinel: Wind. Often overlooked by many as weak, the BatSen can entrap foes in a whistling whirlwind, or send them flying away with a single Shockwave. Lightning arcs from Submission Nets like a typhoon, and attempting to melee him as is useless as trying to grasp the air itself.

 

Krogan Warlord: Earth. Massive, unmovable (thanks to stagger resistance), and packing a ton of force, the Krolord is able to send lesser enemies flying with a simple backhand. The only way to stop it is to slowly erode it while staying out of range; a difficult thing to do when it's bearing down on you like a landslide.

Batarian Soldier is fire. This must be the reason why I must bellow "Praise the Sun, Mother @#$$$ !!!!" when I spam inferno dance party nades in every direction. 

 

Oh well language filter ain't gonna catch that one.

Fire could be any kit with incinerate, flamer, or inferno nades. Only two characters actually scorch the earth wherever they walk though.

My Human Engineer actually has a power that includes Chain Lightning.

 

No one else is even close.

Seas of chaos roil as synthetics turn upon each other in a frenzy, and all foes become hapless victims against a maelstrom of tech vulnerability! When Turian Ghosts don't quite have all the answers, W.A.T.E.R. flows with a purifying zeal.

I'd say Asari characters would be more like water, imo.

 

They are indeed blue and have head tentacles, but superficial characteristics aside, they can be gentle, yet also powerful.  Their biotics weaken you with their DOT, like Chinese water torture.  Three have a form of a bubble, stasis or biotic bubble.  

 

Also, while I take a bath, I like to be surrounded by the warm, gentle, and pure warmth of water.

 

Plus, heavy melee...

 

Tell me that doesn't look like the luckiest biotic river in the galaxy...

Paladin. Snap freeze is a water element and cryo explosions make me want to drown myself. Paladin also makes pugs cry because scoreboard.

I'm only playing, I'm sure there are plenty of die-hards down there, but it seems very fair weather until the team is doing good.
