I try not to hype up games anymore to stop me being disappointed but my god, the hype is real.

I got burned by Assassins Creed Unity.. Was so hype about that game but man was it buggy to all get out.

Cool beans.  I added you as well.   AC unity was truly disappointing.  I pre-orded with DLC too boot.  I still feel the burn.  As compensation they offered a different game title..  Which I still haven't downloaded. LOL

Hopefully they decided to make a new engine rather than use a near 20 old engine. Hopefully they took a cue from New Vegas story wise too.

Fallout 4 will use the Skyrim engine.

It will also release sometime in 2015 - so brace yourselves for (yet another) mass exodus of DAMP players.

Yeah. A platform that is decidedly bad for mmo games is exactly the vitamin injection a really crappy mmo needs to become an overnight success story. Anyway. Yay for more ppl in DAIMP.

See what I don't understand is how so many PUGs keep talking about it like its going to end the console gaming world. But anyway, yes, people will definitely trend back to DAMP. I can't remember when the next game with a similar multiplayer mode comes out.

Really now? Do you have a source on this, because I haven't seen any such news released by Bethesda? I could have missed it, but I am honestly following Fallout 4 news obsessively and have heard nothing of it's release date or of the engine used in game.

I think its pretty much expected, but there is no confirmation.

It's weird. I find myself getting put into solo lobbies a lot, yet when I do find a group, I hardly see any names I know I've played with. There's definatley a few people I've ran into on Perilous a couple of times, but almost every Threantening Lobby is new faces.  Or I could just not be remembering people. Unless they're really good (rare) or really bad (...definately not rare...) I generally don't remember names.

Didn't Skyrim use the Fallout 3 engine?

No, ALL Bethesda games since the mid nineties have used some iteration of Gamebryo.

Skyrim is just a modified version. If FO4 is based on that it will be just like the other buggy messes.

Drunk Tim the QA guy will let every bug pass him by again.

I'd love to be proved wrong but I doubt I will.
