which bioware opened the door with potentially solving the issue from my pov aswellYeah he does, and he said he wouldn't let it near him. But if magic like that actually works in the Thedas and the trans-character in question used it. Fair game as far as I'm concerned they're a guy/gal.

I believe it was mentioned speculative so I do not think we have confirmation that magic exist yet that is able to transform a body in such a delicate way - perhaps magic to cast the illusion of it but even that is speculation, I think. Maevaris Tilani was a magister in Tevinter and she still had a body that was biologically male so it would seem that either it does not exist yet or the risks is deemed too unpleasent for someone to be willing to dare it. It is possible, granted, that she may simply not care about biologically altering her body.
It is hard to tell from the panels of the comic I've seen but I do not believe she uses illusionary magic either.

Even the most convincing trans person is still just mimicking their desired gender. Given that modern medicine/science has yet to find a way to change the biological male/female into a functional member of the opposite sex.
This is wrong on so many levels I'm not even sure where to start. Can someone else? I'm losing my energy with this thread, fast.

I know what you mean. How about this: people need to stop assuming that trans people are trying to imitate something, rather than becoming the best and happiest versions of themselves.

In summary, Weekes can do whatever story he wants, but he should give each player the choice to play as the character that they want.
And now that this issue is done, I don't see anything else to discuss here. The possibility of Hawke still being alive if left in the Fade has been discussed at length elsewhere.

I was quite glad that the Qun seemed to be exposed for the utter farce that it was. Has Weekes commented on the Qun, and how it's portrayed? In DA2, the only people who spoke against it said "IT'S HEATHEN!" and that's it.

Personally hoping to see the Architect again, possibly in a DLC focusing on the deep roads (Kal-Sharok?!), what's going on with the Wardens, and darkspawn. There could be some awesome new lore there too, from learning about Kal-Sharok, to the taint, to lyrium.

well if you wish another blight, sure why not!
If the Achitect will return i will reconsider the meaning of death in DA.

How would that mean another blight? Kal-Sharok is a place, darkspawn are common in the deep roads, and the Wardens of having troubles. None of this means there is a blight. As for the Architect, it is reasonable to assume that like Corypheus, he has the ability to body-jump.
