Party based game play.
an attempt I suppose at tactical combat. Hopefully to be updated and improved upon.

Race selection. Again hopefully to be improved upon where necessary.

War table is an interesting idea but needs to be accessible in the field as well. Even if its just the camps.

Skyhold is a good idea but the upgrades need to give some bonuses.

that said, I suppose the superior import system is true, you know ignoring that DA retcons half of your choices anyways, in addition to the extremely limited import decisions that actually do matter.  At least the Witcher devs are upfront about not really caring about imports

I like having the ability to choose what I'm playing as. Some kinks still need to be worked out, but overall, that's something I always wish I could see in other games too.

Well this is what everyone needed. 

 

Might as well pitch in now that it's here and say...eh. I liked DA:I well enough, but I'm not sure if there's any aspect that I don't believe TW3 did better now that I've thought on it...voice acting perhaps, even if CDPR has upped their game in that regard. BioWare is pretty much always going to be on top in that department nowadays.

Maybe this thread should be limited to things both companies actually did, instead of listing off what we wished each game had. Not to backseat mod or anything, but it'd be cool if this thread actually had a point being here give the fact that we already have two of them.

I would say the facial animation, lip syncing, certain cinematic animations (I would say the chess scene is one of the best. You can see the different hand gestures, Cullen moving his legs, leaning towards the table or laying back to the chair etc.) and voice acting of DAI is better. Not saying TW3 did these poorly but they are more natural and realistic to me in DAI. 

 

Also, I like the crafting system in DAI. We can craft different components to the weapons/armours. Not only they can strengthen your character but they are also cosmetically good. While TW3 we can craft a lot more stuff but we cannot customise them.

 

Lastly, I enjoy the varieties of maps provided by DAI. I can go to the forest area in Emerald Graves or the desert area in Hissing Wastes. Of course there are too many uninteresting quests in the area. I admire the attempt to create these many maps but they really should have reduced the number of maps and provided deeper side quests in the areas.

I shall go ahead and contest that one -- No, can confirm from my angle that the 'romance' in dragon age inquisition seemingly dies JUST after the 'climax' quest. Sorry, not buying that one one bit.

I think the environmental graphics and details are better in DAI than W3. You know, the grass, trees, stones, or wood in the walls. That kinda thing.
