Yes pause in cut scenes is nice in DA:I. I missed that in TW3. Once dialogue started it went until you got to a choice. Witcher 3 autosave feature can be a bit brutal at times too, and not save for hours if you are out exploring. Oops you fell off a cliff.. well here is an autosave from 45 minutes ago..

Tolkien's elves are all glamour queens that build their cities on waterfalls because hot damn it looks cool. I'm glad others have tried to deviate.

But for me, the clincher is Geralt himself. I don't like him. He's a thirteen-year-old boy's power fantasy. With boys-only clubhouse of powers that include perfect birth control and immunity to STIs - he's a mutant for consequence-free sex! - and that breathy voice that bad action-movie voice that sounds like he's having breathing problems. There's even a section in the strat guide about all the women he can have sex with!
So living on the fringes of society, hated by just about everyone for your existence, existing just a step above the poverty line and having to face unimaginable horrors that can tear through whole squads of soldiers and routinely eat people for breakfast is part of the male power fantasy package?
I think one of the most interesting aspects of the Witcher 3, if you're paying attention, is how it quite cleverly subverts the male power fantasy. Almost all the major women are sociopolitically/economically better off than he is. For the most part, he is a glorified pest exterminator, an expendable pawn used by kings and sorceresses who value him only for his skills as a fighter and tracker, and then shown the door when he's no longer needed. Even in his private life, with Yen, he fares no better. She's clearly the dominant one in the relationship dictating how things go whilst he submissively accepts her plans (albeit with alot of grumbling) regardless of his feelings about them.

* The graphics of the environment is superior in DAI, more colors than brown, gray and swampy green. The art style is far more interesting.
* The lore is more interesting IMO
* Far more customization
* War Table operations. Could be better, but still it is a good idea
* Superior soundtrack

Well, and this may come as a shock to you, but production works on a curve. You cannot work on everything at maximum capacity, so yes adding in MORE(Because isn't that a fun word to italicize) options in will definitely hurt somewhere else. As my economics teacher used to say: It's all about Guns and Butter. You can produce more of one, but it means less of another. Adding in options that have no economic benefit, especially for a small studio like CPR does nothing. BioWare doesn't need to worry about that problem because they already exist on the part of the curve that they are comfortable with.
Again, I'm talking theoretically. Plus, if they had implemented a CC in the first witcher game, it's not like it would have been particularly good or expansive/resource intensive, if the rest of the game is any indication (because it's bad. The first Witcher game is bad.).
In any event, in 2015, maybe CDPR is still a small studio. I don't know, but I do know that they're drowning in money. Obviously, CDPR has proven to the world that they're much better at effectively using their resources than Bioware. I think they could swing it.

I like DAI.
I like TW3.
So why threads in here constantly try to compete with TW3?I don't get you people O___O???On Witcher threads no one even mentions DAI and makes threads like "Who is better",there were 2-3 threads in there in past unrelated to game and that is that,in here you can't step in thread without someone trying to compete TW3 and DAI,like common people this is 'Feedback & Suggestions' thread not your 'Personal agenda & Compete' thread so where is the point in here in constantly competing these two games?There are people actually making real feedback and suggesting things related to this game and thanks to threads as this no wonder BW is like "There must be nothing smart in this thread it is most likely that some butthurt kids again trying to compete games so not worth looking into".

Because the Witcher 3 succeeded quite spectacularly in a similar genre that DAI occupies. Hence people are using it as an example to demonstrate what has been and can be done and how DA can improve in the future. I'm sure DA devs are taking a close look at the Witcher, just like they did with Skyrim and the fanbase here, many who truly want DA to be the best game it can be, is simply trying to point out the aspects which we think made the Witcher so good. Sure not every comment is constructive and some are silly, but that includes yours.

Still I repeat this is 'Feedback & Suggestion' side of thread which means in here topics like reviews on game,personal thoughts on this game and suggestions of what could be brought to game.....are ones that should be in this thread!
I don't see how this is feedback on anything related to DAI or suggestion on anything related to DAI again.Only thing I see is butthurt kids trying to compete two opposite games in here.

Pretty much, there are things both games can learn from each other but there's no reason to constantly pit them against each other like it's a competition

Can someone tell me what is the point of this thread? I thought there was already one, dealing with comparison to TW3 and both negatives and positives were discussed there.
This thread looks like it was made by someone who felt a bit salty about all the positive TW3 feedback and needed some assurance that he or she's not the only one disliking it. If anything, it would have made more sense if it was posted on the CD Projekt forums, since it deals with the opposite than the other thread.
