hello everyone! i am running assasin and i would like to know what is the real difference of aoe and regular daggers.
Exept from the animation of attacks depending on which i have on main hand what other differences are there? in terms of pure damage i mean, are regular ones better?
Also, i have Schematics for blade of red birth, coiled strike and MW dual curved blade, which ones would you suggest i use and why? are there better ones and where? thanks in advance
Yes, regular single-target daggers are better for damage output. AoE is really the only advantage of AoE daggers. Compared to normal daggers, they hit slower and with less power. Because of their lower base damage, they will also make all of your abilities do less damage too, because abilities use base weapon damage to calculate values. The difference isn't ridiculous, but I would recommend single-target daggers if you want damage.
I'm not sure about the schematics though. Just use whichever give you the upgrades you want.

thanks a lot. yes its a bit confusing because the blade of red birth looks cool but it doesnt get any upgrades, while the coiled strike does but has a bit less attack. i suppose i will have to save and get on crafting and checking stats and reloading again!

You're welcome. If the upgrades allow it, you could put more attack on Coiled Strike. But yeah, you're probably best off reloading to see the stats, unfortunately. I had to do a lot of that while crafting too.
