Mmhmm. Totes serious. I could play through every corner of TW3's main and side-quests countless times over, whereas the thought of slogging through the Fade and the Deep Roads again makes me cringe.
Not a wide margin, but there's a margin.

the w3 is a damn good game. my first witcher game. i was surprised at how good it was. i enjoyed dai, but w3 is a better game to me. the stories, the characters, the world.

All of that is subjective though. You liking a character more doesn't mean that there's a drastic difference in the type of content provided. Also, the relationships in DA (and Mass Effect for that matter) finishes (content wise) as soon as you get them into bed. That's been one of the biggest criticisms of Bioware romances.
I mean... one of the company's signature catch phrases is "I should go."
If that's not something you say after getting the sex scene and reaching the "end" of the romance, I don't know what is.

They are two different types of games. So which is better depends on what you want.
I really don't want what TW3 has to offer. It doesn't stop me from admiring a well crafted game by serious people.
But for me, DA:I is much better because it delivers an experience I find more interesting and enjoyable.

m8 even the doll in Bloodborne provides better romance than Bioware romances (not to mention it's probably closer to the fetishes of BSN'ers than Bioware romances themselves).

I'm just glad DA:O exists. Then I can remember how amazing Bioware used to be and hope they will regain their strengths but I know that ship has sailed (actually it sank, and it's still sinking)

Because since then Bioware hasn't produce one RPG with the same quality as DA:O. It is a tragedy.

Like Mass Effect, it was a game that came exactly at the right time for the market from a developer that has mainstream appeal.
The Drakensang games, obscure TDE/DSA based RPGs from a niche German developer, can easily stand up to Origins in almost every way except production values. Yet one is hailed as GOTYAY, and the other gets so few sales that it's devs go out of business.
Not saying Origins was bad by any means. Still the best Dragon Age game.
But the timeless classic tag it's been given is over the top.
