Seeing the other thread, I realised that nobody has ever asked this question, at least not to my knowledge. You can name as many as you want, BUT you only get to name one as the most improved player you've played with. The standard you should rate this on is you have to have played with the person back when they were scrubs.  (or at least, when they weren't as great as they are now).

 

My vote is for Clyde. He was never a bad player, but over the years, he's become one of the best players on Xbox. He's always been a good laugh to play with, but I bet even he'll admit he was never that great of a player in the past.   Definitely someone you want to have around to carry a team now though and he can actually solo now! 

 

Shoutouts for Argent Xero and Akire who've improved a lot since I first played with them (not that they were bad to begin with either...  )

Jay_Haxtatron - improved on his headshots a lot. Can headshot a flipping Phantom or a lashed abomination anytime, every time, through smoke and screenshake

 

N7_Linkinson - Fury play was always lacking, but Warlard running melee improved massively to the point of one shoting Phantoms on Platinum. 

 

Red Juan - Improved his FPS and lag and there is not one better at redjohnium difficulty

ClydeintheShell again. The first time I played with him he was good but now he's just stupid good. The only way I can outscore him is to cheese it and spawn nuke and even then it's a struggle.

On topic: BrickyRacer. Started off wanting to play silver when Charity invited her to play, and last I checked recently she was working on her first platinum solo. She's gotten light years better in a very short period of time.

Seconded for BrickyRacer as the most improved. I took her into one of her very first Bronze games, only a few months ago, and last I saw her she was perfectly at home ripping up Platinum.

Hell if I know, it always amazed me that some players like Argent could just get the hang of Platinum so quickly. I've seen plenty of good players become better with experience and confidence.

My IRL fat turian husbando started out the game getting outplayed in bronze by cannibals and usually didn't manage to extract in bronze, now he still gets outplayed and struggles to extract on platinum except on rare occasions

I didn't know N7-Gerbil was your husband.  I've played with him a few times, and yeah he's a pretty good player.

 

I also used to struggle on Bronze (first multiplayer game ever, little FPS experience), and I can now comfortably roflstomp gold unless some combination of suboptimal kit/weapon and lag take me down.  Platinum solo still eludes me, but that's usually because I get taken down in wave 9/10/11 and get discouraged and dont try again for a month.

I'm sure you could easily do it, but you're probably doing it with suboptimal kit/weapon because everything else is a crutch.

That's mostly because he suddenly starts doing this thing where he decides to try to get melee kills on sync-kill capable enemies or gets in fights with Goonsquads during extraction.  Perfectly understandable reason not to extract.

I think this was going fairly well, I had 4 ops packs and 5 medigel going into W10. One of the objects spawned in that back closet, with atlases blocking the doorway on one side of the map and two phantoms blocked the staircase and the other two blocked the doorway out on the other side. I chose to try to wade through the sea of phantoms, which cost me all five of my medigel, two ops packs, about 45 seconds (this was the first object, even) and my clean up missile. 

 

So in conclusion, I hate this game and this game hates me.

Wasn't he a great player to begin with on PS3? I remember him saying he started a new manifest on Xbox... then he disappeared completely after a month. I still have him on my FL and I NEVER see him on. I suspect it was an alt...
