Devs agree, discuss.
BroJo pls. And he knows he's crazy.
No
No
Because it sucks vs Collectards and Rippas?
Depends on the situation, but I won't disagree completely.
I agree. Warp rounds are pointless outside of sniper rifles, because they can already get tons of piercing through mods without using AP or Drill ammo or compromising another mod slot, but even then they are much worse than Incendiaries (and phasics/disruptor on the top tier ones).
oh, I guess warp's okay for lolbiotic kits too, not that those kits matter.
Disruptor on the other hand, make glorious tech bursts for kits that don't have access to a primer. They even help your teammates make tech bursts! Why would you choose anything else, especially in an otherwise all biotic team that is weak against shielded enemies?
BroJo's choice of favourite kit is equally impeccable to his ammo choice, and I'm glad he at least chooses an inferior copy of a quarian weapon over the beep boop rifle.
I only ever use Warp Rounds on biotics. They are really good on other classes too, but AP and Incendiary ammo do the same job better on non-biotic kits, so I don't see any point in using them. I'd say that Disruptor > Warp rounds on any kit without a biotic priming power, if you are facing Geth or Cerberus. Warp > Disruptor always against Reapers, and probably most of the time against Collectors too. Against mixed factions, it's hard to say.
It depends on the setup. Warp Rounds are good on biotics or against Reapers who are more armour based. When it comes to non biotic kits when I did play, I used Disruptor more than Warp Rounds. It works well on a kit like the QFE who has constant detonators but no natural anti-shield/barrier power.
Crusader is a fun weapon, even if it does fire through time.
Explosive > all
/thread
I mostly use Incendiary and Phasics. Then warp on biotic kits. Very occasionally I use AP, Disruptor or Cryo. Never use Drill or Explosive. I'm probably doing it all wrong, but it works for me, and that's as much as I care.
Appears Becky was a remarkable thread enchantress in order to obtain BroJo's attention. Also, Warp ammo cuz YoLo.

This.
Disruptor is awesome, but BroJo's cosign doesn't help your argument.

Oh yeah, I still remember his last Disrupter Ammo is best topic.
Lol, is this a real question?
How could Disruptor ever be better than Warp rounds on a weapon platform?
Warp IV ammo provides a %60 damage boost, is Disruptor IV a %35 damage boost?
On any kit making use of combo detonations as a primary offensive capability, you could argue Disruptor is better, but not on a kit with focused weapon DPS.
GI / Hurricane / HVB / ext mag / Warp IV / SMG III amp / Barrage gear - FTW
^ Crowd control.
Warp only gets its damage boost on barriers, armor and health.Lol, is this a real question?

Aren't enough enemies that have higher shields than armor. And in reality higher shields than armor would have made more sense in the ME universe to begin with.
edit: speaking of which, google must have dicked around with the spreadsheets, since the MP Enemies document doesn't display correctly in both FF and IE (pics cover up the text).

Pierce mods melt armour through double or tripple hits. But pierce mods can't pierce shields.
Most things in this game have shields/barrier VS armour. And warp only helps with barrier type shields. So on WiiU without the Collector faction, disrupter is for sure better since 2 of the 3 faction are shield instead of barrier. But if you're using warp, chances are you're playing a biotic kit anyway, and they already own the 2 barrier factions to begin with.
