Raizer (best Mass Effect news source on YouTube) has uploaded an interesting vid on the extranet!

He tells us the E3 schedule, then discusses a rumor about Bioware Montreal developers (i.e. Mass Effect devs) that says they are scheduled to be at the EA presentation during E3!  I saw this rumor too.  I saw it on Gamespot, but Raizer also says it was on Kotaku and IGN as well.  Oddly enough, the articles mentioning this rumor on these websites have been taken down.  Almost like Bioware is trying to contain the rumor!  Just my opinion though.  Mass Effect news has been very light in the last coupe of months...

Raizer is a genius, and I consider him the expert authority on YouTube when it comes to Mass Effect.  He's a walking Mass Effect Wikia.

Me too!  He is the only one that actually breaks every piece of information down in every way possible!  Its like he is The Shadow Broker when it comes to Mass Effect info!

Think you're giving the guy a bit too much credit. You can hop off his quad any time. He hasn't broken any news that forum vets don't already know.

You're statement would be correct if his videos weren't on YouTube, where "forum vets" aren't the majority.  In fact, I'd assume that "forum vets" aren't a majority even on the forums themselves, otherwise they wouldn't be "vets."

I don't owe an explanation but I said what I said because -- I go on YouTube and there's idiots that go on a rumor site and run with it as fact.  Or if I believe them to know the ME universe they say something that contradicts what is know to be fact in the ME Universe.

GamerMD and Raizer are probably the two most knowledgleable on YouTube.

BioWare is going to be there -- As Raizer mentions, they are done with DA:I, next up is Mass Effect and maybe some information about their new IP.

They are not done with DAI. More story DLCs are yet to arrive: Link

I know there's DLC, but they are really going to prioritize a completed game with a few DLC's on the way over their biggest franchise in Mass Effect at E3?

Would they really make DA:I DLC the primary focus over ME this year? Come on...

I too expect Mass Effect news this year, but I don't think it'll be something major, like reveal that the game is about to be released. Fallout 4 will likely steal the show and we'll probably get a trailer (with a title), more concept art and a little alpha gameplay at most. I also expect a trailer for DAI DLC.

The statement is correct as is. He isn't breaking any news. He's merely speculating on the rampant speculation that occurs here on the BSN whilst keeping tabs on Bioware devs Twitter postings....

I.e. he's not telling us anything we don't already know or suspect. Hence the redundancy in posting his videos here. Maybe it helps Mass Effect fans who (for whatever reason) use YouTube as their source of information on the franchise. But here it's just regurgitated info we're already aware of.

For instance, does anybody doubt that Bioware will make an appearance at E3? The answer is unequivocally no.

They might even mention a remastered trilogy for the ps4 and xbox1

Fallout 4 will likely steal the show

Not unless Bethesda shows something that is infinitely better than that completely underwhelming reveal trailer.

You have to be careful with games that... steal E3. A couple of years ago it was Watch Dogs.

I prefer any "news" being delivered in a more concise manner. I don't need a minute-long cutscene from ME3 that I've already watched a dozen times. Also, as McFly616 said, there's not really anything new here.

Honestly, it's starting to feel like you're just a duplicate account trying to promote this channel. I mean no offense by this and I'm not saying that's what I think, only that it popped into my head, considering it's not the first time you made a new thread to raise awareness of this Raizer guy. But, of course, you're free to be overly enthusiastic about someone's channel as much as you like :P

Thanks for the hype and for helping build #MassEffectNation!

It is likely that Fallout 4 will "steal the show" in a way.  But still, even if they just show us a proper trailer for Mass Effect, along with providing about 10 minutes of on-0stage info in one way or another, it would be more info than we've gotten in the last year or two.  Only other major sources of info were from Comic Con and the N7 Day Twitchcast from 2014.  Other than the occasional interview.

Either way, Fallout 4 plsu new Mass Effect means best E3 ever!

I think they will still play a lot of things close to the chest, they might show things like gameplay, planets, in-game models for all kinds of stuff...basically try to dazzle us with graphics so we don't think too much about the plot...

What is underwhelming about it? Graphics? Bethesda games were never top notch in that department.

I'd pick Mass Effect over fallout, All day,  Every day. If a trailer for Mass Effect: Next was revealed. I'm pretty sure it'd steal the show.

Never top notch but always current. And the reveal trailer looked dated, very much last gen. Second, it's long been rumored that Boston was the setting. Sadly it came to fruition, and looks to be as bland a choice as many had imagined. Third, for a 2 minute long reveal trailer captured in-game, I mean....it didn't show anything of substance.  That's a long time to show pretty much nothing but a dog, a Boston that resembles Bioshock Infinite, and a funny looking dude in a jumpsuit.

Trust me, I want to be hyped for the game. I wish I came away impressed with the reveal as I'm a long time Bethesda fan. But the trailer was the very definition of "underwhelming" imo. Much of the hype seems to be about the fact that it's been officially revealed, rather than the quality of the reveal itself.

I think it looked pretty fine, well fitting to the current gen. This is Bethesda we are talking about, their most recent game lacked in graphics department compared to other game of the same year - Witcher 2 and a game from 2010 - Mass Effect 2.

I have no quarrel with setting the game in Boston. Fallout lore allows it to be quite an interesting setting. Presence of Brotherhood of Steel, Institute and the Railroad already creates three groups with different interests in technology.

As for the trailer not showing anything of substance, what reveal trailer does? We learned that BoS is in the game, learned of old and new creatures, saw a glimpse of a player's house, learned that he was voiced, learned about the dog, setting and possibly timeline (considering BoS now uses Vertibirds).

We are likely to see more footage at E3, probably a demo showcase.

This is off-topic though, would love to discuss elsewhere, via PM or a dedicated thread if you wish.

Lol, after watching that trailer I was wondering if Fallout 4 is essentially Fallout 3 with updated graphics...trailer didn't hype me at all.  But to be fair I think 6 hours was the furthest I managed to venture in FO3 before putting it away so not really a fan anyways.

C'mon... Of course Bioware will be at E3.

See, the game has been in development in a loooooooong time, and this time was only silence or Concept Art. But if you see on Twitter Thread, you'll see they're definetly up for something.

It wouldn't be logical if nothing at all appeared on E3 about Mass Effect Next. I'm almost positive we'll get a title.
