What happens when you go from PS3 Gold to 360 Gold?

Nope, it's about the same on both platforms. Only real difference is xbox thumbsticks.

You get frames.
Oh yeah, there's that too. That's a really nice feature.

^ About time!
But to everyone still with me. All I'm saying is that I don't recall the last time I entered a PS3 lobby and thought to myself "Hmm, too much cheese. Better split." Then I come back to X-Box and remember why I retired. And I'm still talking Gold. Don't care what you play in Platinum.

Well, you can actually play Collectors, and gain access to about half a dozen new maps you couldn't play before.

I still play Collectors on PS3. Just have to hope I don't land on one of the trouble maps with them. And if I do, well, it's a nail biting experience in challenge with the possible extra added challenge that I may not see extraction.
The main reason why this topic title exists is because the PS3 user base doesn't seem as large as the 360 one. So PS3 is great if you want to pug Gold, but 360 is better if you mostly play Platinum.

I always like to outscore cheesy players and then feed off the rage glowing through my TV. Agreed it's getting kind of ridiculous on Xbox nowadays though. All pugs seem to be either total newbie scrubs or tryhard, but still kind of crap scrubs. My advice? Learn to solo or play with friends.

I almost outscored a Reeger X/Acolyte X AIU today with my Jug Spitfire X. Would of too if I'd of used my rockets in the same manner. Still had 4 left and the two I used weren't spawn nukes.
PS - the AIU was the first to leave. That was a good sign. Because epeen threatened.

Oh, I still play with friends. But I'll never leave the pug life fully behind. And the much more varied PS3 lobbies and pug quality is just more appealing, is what I'm saying. You know, so that other who start alt account better know what they're getting into.

I played a few games as a Geth Trooper on my Xbox a/c yesterday and these characters were in every lobby I was in, mostly with a surprising absence of consumables. I also had to give up searching for Collectors Gold games as nothing was happening there at all, sadly, and that's half the reason I was on the feckin Xbox in the first place. But yeah, I have to agree that there was a noticeable difference in variety. Couple of good games though.

Something I've been seeing a lot on PC pugs these past few days, is loaded equipment bonuses, but sans Rail Amp. Like you'll have a TGI with Incendiary Ammo, Cyclonic Modulator, and Grenade Capacity, but no AR Rail Amp. Or a Reegar AIU with no Shotgun Amp.
This says to me "I ran out of those Rail Amps because this is the only kit I can play without being a burden, so instead of playing something else, I'll just go without a Rail Amp."

I didn't think it'd be that bad, until I started playing Blazblue and SF IV. it was so horrible.

I do that all the time. Mostly because I rarely have more than three or four of any given weapon amp, so if I happen to want to play a particular kit (or a few that happen to use the same weapon type) for more than a couple matches, I have to do it without the rail amp. Though I'll probably at least throw on a Targeting VI. I usually have at least 100 of those and Strength Enhancers hanging around.
And I'm starting to think that Pistol Rail Amp III is almost as common as URs...
