Got a 331 base damage dragon maul yesterday, figured it was about time to upgrade it and use it.

Which hafts and pommels do you use? What are you stats after upgrading?

Should I go hipster and use the 323 base damage mail I have instead?

go for crit damage all the way! and on the weaker one give it HoK to compensate. i love me these Mails.

Edit: She is now mine, I went for attack% and critical damage. It's all about the deeps.

I have the decorative haft and etched pommel.

Stats:

357 DPS (328 base)

Superb fire rune (cold rune on my other one)

+28%attack

+14% crit chance

+16% Heal on kill

+10 Str.

331 base damage isn't even that high for the dragon mail if you consider the amount of bills and bad news in it. Cuts deep my friend, cuts deep.

When was the last time you got anything in the snailbox other than bills and bad news? I think I got a thank you card like 8-10 months ago

BW devs read BSN. BW devs can also see your player data. I'm not insinuating anything. I'm just saying.

Im on the same boat. More then 130 dragons kills on perilious and I got all other dragon items twice or three times but NO MAUL.

Oooh, look at that, my 4th Greatsword. So, I officially found more Greatswords than all other dragon items combined now.

 

 

 

Try 15 bow of the dragons...

It would be a pleasant surprise to get everything but the Maul in the first place.

That works if your cunning is high , the Avvar is a killing machine with that maul .

I went with crit chance to help my avvar's survivability. I'm considering switching it to stagger because having something like 20% chance to stun mobs sounds pretty hilarious.

Yeah...my cunning is at like 32 so I am rocking crit chance currently...as cunning gets higher, I'll change that out for damage.  Add a +20% crit damage ring...beast mode.

i've got 6 staffs as off now..... and the shield and the maul. BUT DAMN 6 STAFFS? really? ;-;

I got 7 staves in a row before I got anything else Just keep grinding and you'll get them all, finally got the maul which was the last thing I needed last night.

 

Edit: Just picked up Audacity again (broke down the last one) and she is beautiful.
