The world is not black and white and if we opened our eyes fully, we'd see how colorful it really is, and how easily we can be swayed by blindness.
What has DA taught you?

I don't blame Anders. I blame Vengeance. If you look up his rivalmance path on youtube, it becomes quite clear that Anders is not the one responsible. He can't stop Vengeance. I mean, I suppose he could kill himself, but... come on.
I've never played the rivalmance path, so I'm not as familiar with it. I do know how things like depression, anxiety and other problems we'd label mental health can just turn your world around to the point where the unthinkable can seem sensible. Which is what Justice/Vengeance has done to Anders.

But.....he took vengeance in , he said he corrupted the spirit not the other way around...so....it is still Anders fault no?

I'm pretty sure that there's actually a thread on who we should blame...

"You train your will to control magic and withstand possession. Your indomitable focus is an enjoyable side benefit. You have chosen a path whose steps you do not dislike because it leads to a destination you enjoy. As have I."
"Indomitable focus?"
"Presumably. I have yet to see it dominated. I imagine that the sight would be... fascinating."

I haven't either, that's why I mentioned youtube. While all of that is part of it, Anders realizes what Justice has become and openly says to Hawke that he can't stop him.

Yes, but technically it was Justice. It's not his fault per se, more like his responsibility. He had the best intentions and really no way to know he would corrupt Justice (simply by sharing bodies, not because he's evil). It would be like blaming someone for saving a child, only to find out that child broke quarantine with a deadly virus and will kill hundreds of people. Or something. I'm bad with analogies, sorry.

Most of this is lighthearted humor. I have read every comment in this thread and very little is criticism, aside from the few inevitable trolls who come into every thread to bash the game. I think it's extremely rude that you're reading these comments and not only overlooking the fact that most of us our joking around, but that you are assuming we are "petty, jaded and entitled". If you ask me, your comment is the rudest one in the entire thread.DAI hasn't taught me much at all. But I can tell you of something that did teach me something. This thread. It's showing me just how petty, jaded, & entitled a lot of people can be. All the vitriol being thrown around in this thread truly disappoints me. No wonder Bioware has moved on from here to social media & Reddit.
Thank you! Some people don't know how to take a joke. I love making fun of video game logic in general. By no means does it mean that the game is bad. That templars make the best lovers, lol, and that riding a bull can be dangerous. Come on, people, lighten up.
