That elves really are jerks.     And stupid, my god, Merrill, please!

That mages really are batshit crazy.    Except Dorian, of course.

That the combination of both is going to doom us all.      I thought you were cool, Solas...

In fact, EVERYTHING is the fault of ancient magical elves.      And you thought you had it bad in Tevinter, Fenris.

Be smarter next time and stick to your loyal human warrior friends. They will never let you down.     I love you so much Alistair, Aveline and Cassandra.

Seriously, Dragon Age has turned me from a free mages advocate and open-minded elf enthusiast into a mage-hating racist. I finally understand where all the resentment in Thedas is coming from. I applaud Bioware for trolling me so royally...

actually that was Isabella was our first due her rivaini heritage it was the lighting in dao that made it iffy just saying

No. There are many dusky skinned races in the real world who aren't black. I did not see Isabela as caucasian by any stretch, but that didn't make her ethnically black either.

To fire Leliana at that point could destroy the Inquisition since she is the spy network and her spies seem to revere her more than the Inquisitor.

I was joking on that account, because it would be hard to do. But you should definitely, definitely be able to disagree with her and call her out for disobeying your direct orders multiple times. I mean, what the hell?

What I've  learned from the DA games:

That nobody should try to change things for the better for any people (slaves, elves, mages, or people in general), because it will always end in a disaster.

That person could be declared a prophet by a cult that will result in forming an oppressive religious organization (Andraste). Or worse yet, they could become a monster or an abomination (Simon, Anders), have the very people they were trying to save get killed (dalish Inquisitor, Merrill), or will just be hated by everyone in the world (Solas).  The best a person can hope for is to be deleted from the above mentioned religious organization's records or to be forever forgotten (Shartan, Amerdan).

Hawke and the Grey Wardens earned a special mention, but I am not even going into that.

The hidden message (moral of the story) is:

"Stick to the Status quo. Doing good things is bad for you!"

gaider said it so it's WOG I believe and that's explainable that she's light skinned like my mother.

WOG? I'm unfamiliar with the term, but to me Isabela always looked like she had the same coloring as my dad and sister, olive skinned Middle Eastern.

It's not specific to the BSN.

Thedas has less sexual hangups than anywhere on earth...except possible for France (which is Ironic, because if BIoWare wants a character to annoy you they make them French).

When I'm drunk I actually think like Female (humorous) Hawke.

I learned that if you turn people on to KOTOR on their iPad they will go out and buy every game you ever developed.

Dragon Age is the most fun I can have with my clothes on, and I'm glad my wife was cool with me romancing Leliana in Origins...because they look wayyyyyy too much alike for comfort.  Actually at one point she grabbed the controller and started romancing herself...if only I had a video of that...

People who hang around BioWare forums to b!tch about BioWare need a life.

There are many things I don't care for in life...I don't go hang around their forums...ewwww is there a Westboro forum...sorry random thought.

The plant I really want to pick is somehow underneath a mountain.

I spend way too much time considering what I say to my fake girlfriend, as if this will somehow reflect on my life.

I'm not as funny or as cool as my avatar in the sense that I cannot shoot electricity out of my breasts, but when RL hurts you can always go kill a dragon.

BioWARE has France. It's called Orlais. It also gave us two incredibly annoying people: Arlessa Isolde and Celene I.

And keep it up with the electricity thing. Effort trumps everything.

DA and Mass Effect taught me that it is possible to be in a successful, committed relationship without ever referring to your partner by their first name.

DA also taught me that slavery and oppression are bad. Unless it's Fenris, in which case, sell that **** out. Thanks for that important lesson, Anders.

No.

Gender is not determined by what is between your legs. Bigotry will not change the fact that Krem is male.

He's only a bigot if he hates transpeople for being trans.

Opining as to what gender a trans person should be classified as is not bigotry.

No. That would mean he's transphobic (which he probably is, since he's denying that trans exists, essentially). I would have to say that being intolerant and denying a person's gender identity as being valid qualifies as bigotry.
