Apologies if this was already discussed, I see many other people are having problems with DLC, but after going through the first 2 pages of the Technical Support forums, I was unable to find anything similar to my issue, if someone knows of another thread with a fix, I would love a link.

Basically, I got my game from a friend, he bought the game, put in his codes, and then decided he didn't like the game, so he gave it to me, so I ended up having to go buy the DLC, which is not that big of a deal, however, due to money issues, I had to Wardens first, then Stone Prisoner the next day.

When I got Wardens Keep, it installed perfectly, and whenever I log into the game, I see the quest under "Premimum Content" to go talk to the merchant, however, with Stone Prisoner, I was impatient during the download, and during the middle of it, started a new charecter. I don't know if this broke it or something, but when I finally left that game it showed as "enabled" so I figured it worked just fine.

However, whenever I start a character now, I don't have any quests to go find Shale, or do anything to start that chain at all, it shows as enabled in my DLC screen, as well as in my game screen, it just doesn't offer the quest, and I am not getting any indicators where to go to start this.

Am I just stupid, and there is a location on my map I just need to waltz over to, or is something actually not working here? I checked my map several times, but never saw anything that looked like the location for the DLC, and its really starting to bug me, I've also started several new characters to see if it tags on for them, and have toggled the little switch on and off several times.

*edit* I just checked my page on the forums, that shows what DLC you own, it shows me as "owning" Wardens Keep, and Stone Prisoner, so thats not the issue, the game recognizes I own it, its just not WORKING. A better way of putting this, everything is set to enabled for it, I have it in my DLC log as enabled, even when in game, I just have never gotten a quest for it, and can't find the location I need to travel to ANYWHERE.

As for me, Shale randomly decided that she's back in the village after 5 hours of not using her.. Quest basically reset even though it shows as complete in the journal.

ok i fixed it on my computer.... i did what this user said to do.....

Finally, it works for me now!!!

What I did was:

- Deleted Manifest.xml in "C:\\\\Users\\\\\\\\Documents\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\Settings"

- Deleted (I made a backup, just in case) folder "dao_prc_cp_2" in "C:\\\\Users\\\\\\\\Documents\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\AddIns"

- Executed the launcher, selected the configure utility and in the repair option, I pressed the button "Clear Download Cache".

After that, I ran the game in administrator mode, it downloaded again the Stone Prisoner DLC and... Honnleath appeared in the map in all my saved games.

i had to re-download the stone prisoner quest, it wouldn't do it automatically. under the download tab the stone prisoner quest is there and had to click on the download button. after that it worked. hope this helps everyone else.

Here's a simple tutorial on how I fixed a broken DLC package that was supposedly installed but not really working (conversations broken, quest markers not appearing, etc.) Worked for me, see if it helps.
