Typhoon on human soldier. You don't ever have to stop firing.

No, no, no, no, no!  Devastator Mode has accuracy-boosting bonuses, which is fine if you're trying to kill a single enemy, but it takes away from the Revenant's ability to shoot the entire spawn at once.  You need to use it on the Human Soldier, where Adrenaline Rush can keep you firing continuously and boost your damage without taking away the Revenant's spawn-spraying ability.

I'd pick Collector Rifle cuz it's really good when the Collectors shoot me with it.

Collector Assault Rifle = sucks.      Gimme a good ol' Avenger any day   (  using my Neal voice )

 

 

Side note: The Collector Sniper rifle is so bad  even the Collectors won't issue it to theirs troops.

You'd use an Avenger but scoff at the CSR? Seriously? It's one of the better SRs in the game. Javelin, Widow, Black Widow and Valiant are better but I'd rank the CSR at 5. Kishock might be just as good, if it didn't have offhost issues. All the others are way worse.

 

The CAR is pretty bad, yeah... but still better than the Avenger.

The Collector Rifle isn't terribly good, the CSR is great if you use it right and can train headshots instead of snapping them off.

Did the Destroyer-Harrier combo last night. FIrst game was UUP (Lobby took forever at that time last night. Round 1am Pacific on PC.)

 

Went in with 3, GI w/Black Widow (Host), Low N7Puggernaut with low weapons but equipped what looked like the best he could, showed effort and did fine.

 

Wound up getting another puggernaut in the early waves.

 

Me and the GI shared the puggernauts, sort of 1 DPS + 1 Tank. Worked hilariously well, going in mobile fireteams. Meant I could ****** some ammo crates to myself. The Puggernaut that was around me did great, shot his healing turret at me all the time. Ressed me when I got waaaaaay in over my head round wave 7 on the outside...Everything preceding that was sheer gloriousness.

 

Ended with me and the GI 4k from each other in score (I was lower, but he used a few more rockets and he was hosting so ) both above 200k.

 

Exactly what I was looking for, and not something I think I've tried before either.

I like Revenant Destroyer with Barrage gear and Cryo ammo. Good stability with SO MUCH AMMO AND INCREASED DAMAGE.

Just point at a mob and flash freeze everyone with multi headshots due to spread and insane rate of fire. Anyone not frozen will dodge roll, getting hit by bullets or missiles for their trouble. and explosions from missiles hitting frozen enemies galore.

Otherwise I slap a Harrier on a default human soldier with a Talon sidearm, colored in white gold and black, for a Cerberus Commando.

Yeah, seriously - the CAR CSR is incredible if it's used by someone who is good at it.  I don't pretend to be awesome with it, but I still do pretty well.  I'd actually put it at #3 after the BW and Javelin.  The Widow generally has to be optimized for either mook-killing or bosses unless you're using it on the SI.  The CSR is great against both mooks and bosses.

 

I should note that the worst I have ever been outscored on this game was by another BSN'er who was very proficient with the CSR.
