Hello,
I don't exactly keep track of all my accounts any longer, and usually just make them as I need them, and finally had it backfire on me here.. I created a new account here with this e-mail address, when my gamertag (MadCaddyAA) is linked to an older AOL name. I have already put in a few codes for DLC, and see the inferno armor here, and am not sure how I can get it to my console, or over to the correct e-mail address..
If anyone knows how to fix it, I'd grealy appreciate a little guidance.
Thanks
Registered game with new E-mail address before realizing old address was linked to gamertag.

This is the exact same issue I am having! Ultimately, I'm willing to chalk up the Inferno and Collector's Armor to my own foolishness, but damnit, I don't want this to backfire on me later.
Further, honestly, this is a ridiculous system for DLC activation. I recall Dragon Age allowing us to enter the code directly on the X-Box. *WHY* could we not do the same here?

I gotta agree. It's really annoying and snapped me right out of the game. I only lost the inferno armor so far to it, so I think I'm gonna just make a new account with my old AOL e-mail address, but I'd rather not just lose the inferno armor, + i registered the UPC code to this account, but the activation code from the game manual on the other.. It's pretty ridiculous, all these codes...

Call or Chat with EA, get them to change your account it's linked to; this has been said many many many times within the past 24 hours

Call EA's customer support (phone number is on the back of the manual) and ask them to transfer your gamertag to this account. It's easy to do (after the wait).
I tried the Live Chat yesterday, but it was pointless. It said I had to wait 30 minutes, but from eight or so failed chats, I've come to believe that the session simply times out after 30 minutes without getting through to a rep. So, if Live Chat starts you at a 30 minute wait, the chances of you getting through is pretty small.

I had this resolved overnight by emailing them from the ea.com support page. The just removed my gamertag from the account I didn't realize I had created and added it the ea.com account I knew I had.

Tried the emailing thing, but got an automated response about the Dragon Age preorder offer.

I'm pretty sure I selected Dragon Age:Origins then account issue. Then it was just a text box to fill out. I asked for my gamertag to be removed from one login and added to another. They won't be able to merge accounts.

Finally got through via live chat for this issue (took about 10 tries between last night and today) and they resolved it in about 1 minute. Just need your gamertag/ DOB associated with that tag and the accounts/emails in question.

I tried several times last night to chat with a cust rep last night, and it said it couldn't find anyone. I tried this morning at around 9:30am ET and only had to wait 5 minutes before someone worked with me. All I had to provide was my correct email address, XBL id, DOB and codes that I registered under the wrong email address. It took the guy about 5 minutes, but when I logged back into this site using my XBL email address the codes were transferred over

I finally got a rep and he switched my tag to the other account and assured me that everything would still work. I can now no longer access the cerberus network... i need to get them to switch it back now...
