Purchased recently the game on psn when it was at 50% current price, like the title says, I have played for a little more 80 hours the game without adding the time spent on multiplayer, so far here are my complains, cuz yes, I like to complain, deal with it.

- Not enough accessories, armors and weapons variety in the game, for such just a huge game I am surpised at the lack of it, from level 1 to 21 I feel like I only weared some variants of the battlemaster armor, so much for epic character proggression... could have been nice if you had at least uniques full sets for each advanced class, oh and why the warden armor looks so horrible on a qunary?

- Crafting sucks, what's the point of having all those upgrade schematics when the only chance to use them is to crit when mastercrafting a gear which I never managed to do.

- Qunary is a no go for cutscenes, nice torso there, can't see the rest on screen, oh and did you see his posture when sitting on the Inquisitor chair? LULZ

- Story is a borefest, clichés over clichés over clichés over clichés etc etc, there was one cutscene where I thought I was watching Dragon Age: The Musical, oh was that supposed to trigger some emotion for me? Could have worked if I didn't see that very same cliché a dozen times elsewhere.

- Tactical camera, granted I'm currenlty playing the game on normal mode, have no idea if it's at his use on NM.

- Multiplayer, guard sucks, guard being just some extra HP is simply terrible for any offensive melee, love seeing my legionnaire getting is full guard taken down by a couple of arrows... You guys could have at least added some dmg reduction with it or making hits taking only half the dmg on the guard gauge. Barrier on the other side, much love for it.

That's about it, see ya around folks.

I think qunari are not able to wear warden armor and it's actually a glitch if you're able to wear it. I also played as a male qunari and didn't even notice the camera being broken.

I don't know how you're playing the legionnaire, I tried playing as a guard heavy templar and rarely had my health touched. Like all classes, you're more vulnerable during the early levels.

Haha! That women's ridiculous lips ruined that scene for me.

You appear to have entirely missed the best part of the crafting system, and it has nothing to do with masterworks.

There are two things that make the crafting system worthwhile which you've completely ignored.  First, crafted gear has no level requirements, so at low-mid levels it's always the best gear available to you.  Second, the fade-touched materials grant special abilities which are generally way more valuable than a masterwork.

Also, when you say you "never managed" to crit while crafting, that suggests you tried several times.  With the same materials?  Because the RNG gets used to determine masterwork success not when you use the material, but when you acquire it, so reloading and trying again will always fail.

RNG demands blood sacrifice, in the form of dragon teeth

Guard is significantly worse in MP because of much lower armour levels, meaning each hit against you takes away much more Guard.

You know why I want a masterwork armor? Not for the bonuses the upgrades gives, but for the appearances of gauntlets & boots on my armor, as I said before, most if not all the gear makes me look like a hobo on my Qunary, for being the Inquisitor and being a center piece in the DA world I would have hoped to look a little more "epic"...

And yeah, did read about the impossibility of scum saving for a craft crit, it sucks.

...To my knowledge that's not what those materials do.

In fact, just googled what you were asking for and the closest I found to any sort of information supporting that idea, was one comment on a forum of someone wondering if that was possible.

AFAIK, crafted armors such as the Dragon armor, or the Grey Warden armors, have fixed gloves/boots.  You can not change them.  Armors like the Scout Mail, Batllemaster armor, and such you have to go to the anvil that says "Modify armor" for, to attach a glove/boot piece.  It has nothing to do with getting a "crit" when crafting the armor.

I was aware about the Warden/Dragon armors, as for the Battlemaster... you are right, after I did some crafting, I realized I had forgotten to grab some upgrades for...

Guess that's one less complain on my part.

So I've finally finished the game today, lackluster ending and that Coryphaeus dude was terrible, a poor excuse of a villain, that Samson dude had more development with just a couple of cutscenes...

Overall, this game was too big for it's own good, I would have prefered things to be more fleshed out, quality over quantity kind of stuff.

Was it worth for me? For the price I paid for it (50% on PSN), I would say yes, otherwise...
