I still need to finish the game but it has some of the dopest boss battles in gaming. The water colossi especially.

Loved the game as much as I hated the backwards jump before the 3rd Colossus and during Malus.

Shadow of the Colossus and Ico were wonderful games; beautiful and unique. It's also interesting to read up on the additional colossi that were planned for Shadow of the Colossus, since some references have been made in interviews by Fumito Ueda about the additional colossi, and a few fans (like Nomad Colossus) even hacked the game for further insight into what they would have been like and where they might have shown up (apparently, there were at least eight more colossi planned for the game).
I wonder if the Last Guardian will come out or not; the trailer looked quite interesting. Given how Shadow of the Colossus was a prequel to Ico, I wonder if the Last Guardian was going to be tied to the mythology established in Ico.

It's not cancelled last I heard. There's hope for The Last Guardian.

I was about to mention Last Guardian too -- I don't know what to expect of that game whereas I feel I know more what to expect from Half Life 3 if it is ever going to be made; Less restrictive linear corridor maps and challenging shooter gameplay. Last Guardian, I'm not sure but ultimately I still want it to be made as much as I want Shenmue to come back, Condemned 3 etc.

I heard Ico and SotC are actually both connected somehow, kind of interesting.

If we lose hope in something like Last Guardian coming out then we lose hope at another JSGR/JSRF. And then what as it all for really?
Never lose hope. One day. Until then that Hover: Revolt of Gamers will have to hold people over.

Ueda said it's up to the player to decide how the narratives of Ico and Shadow of the Collosus fit together, simply stating that the two have a connection. Given the horns on the baby at the end, I figured Wander was the progenitor of the so-called 'curse' (the children born with horns by the time of Ico); I felt it also explained the power that the Queen wanted to tap into (given the other 'sacrifices'), due to the bargain Wander makes with Dormin.

Ohh exciting! I hope TLG follows up on all that
in 2150
when it's finally out

In the meantime I guess we can all entertain ourselves with such joys as finding the hidden garden (and other cool tricks apparently!)

I remember I spent like 45 minutes trying to get one of those damn birds to fly on. I never knew you could do it with the doves too.

I didn't even know Lizards existed, goes to show my total lack of gaming skill.

Really? I think I saw my first one on the way to the second boss. It scurried around a tree.

Yeah, I think maybe I saw one at some point (maybe before Phalanx?), but I never bothered to eat it I think, I just completed the game without any boosts basically.
