The pyjaks complaining about having to click more to shoot need to grow four extra Paganini-sized fingers.
That would do it.

Mattock does the same exact damage (not dps, damage) as the Harrier. The pyjaks complaining about having to click more to shoot need to grow a quad.
The question is do you prefer it over Carrier.
Wait... what?
The wind up only gets you killed if you are a terrible player...
As for preferring "AoE" of the revenant... I personally find that a 250% headshot modifier on a more accurate gun and target switching is much more effective than spraying a revenant. But I actually aim, so my opinion is "biased" I guess.
If you want to kiill an entire spawn in 15 years, then spray away with your revenant...
I personally detest the mattock to the point I would rather take the vindicator. If I'm going to use a single shot/semi auto accuracy is key weapon then I want the rounds to have oomph like the Saber instead of having to spam the fire button and burn a whole clip for a single maybe two kills reliably (I'm not a headshot god).
As for the Revenant v Typhoon it depends on how I want to approach a fight. If I'm looking to predominately engage heavies then it's the Typhoon hands down as it just chews through every defense. Against mobs, the Revenant do to its ease of switching targets, something a fully roaring Typhoon seems to struggle with. I don't understand how almost every BSN member seems to think the Revenant can only spray and pray and suck at that. Last time I checked there was this option called burst fire where instead of being trigger mchappy and holding down the fire button until the clip is empty you fire for a second, realign, and repeat. There's also then the options of the numerous stun and freeze effects to make a sweeping advance where accuracy is less important than laying down hell fire. Is the Revenant a great gun maybe not but it's not a pos either.
As for the Harrier: sorry Op but nothing is going to outclass the Harrier except maybe the Saber. Now that would be a good debate. (Edit: this is my personal opinion)
Op said what? Mattock, might as well pull out the Raptor. Revenant..I like it and all but ...When shooting at a Banshee right in front of me..only 1 out of every 5 bullets connect.
wish I could summon draonracer for this.
... the sheer dakka means entire spawns can be wiped out in seconds.
(on bronze- but then, so what?)

Maybe a wave 1 all-mook spawn- and after you've chomped a TCP at that. I would be surprised if it is even mathematically possible for it to "wipe out an entire spawn in seconds" on a difficulty higher than bronze.
yeah bosses will take a moment but put a revenant on a destroyer with missiles and devastator mode with a barrage gear, then gear on top of that and its not exactly hard to believe lol. Mobs get mowed down in waves instead of one enemy at a time. Enemies constantly trying to dodge only to get pegged by missiles or bullets, catching fire, tech explosions, armor piercing round blowing through cover, etc etc.Maybe a wave 1 all-mook spawn- and after you've chomped a TCP at that. I'm entertained...

Seriously why is it hard to believe? Comes across more that you are rejecting the idea without actually considering the application of it.
People are skeptical of the idea, because the damage values of the Revenant simply don't square with the idea that it could kill an entire spawn "in seconds" on anything above bronze- like I said, I'd be surprised if its even mathematically possible.
I think maybe you live in a parallel universe where the ME3 Revenant is actually something remotely like what it was on ME2...

Tech Explosions? As Destroyer? Do you detonate with Multi-Frag Grenades?

I've been away too long. I should have known not to post a legit answer in a Silvair thread. In my absence, I've forgotten that Silvair is part of "that crowd" of BSN.
I should have just troll responded like I normally do...
Exaggeration breeds counterexaggeration.

These were like my fave weapons pre-maxed manifest days. Harrier was also one of the last URs the store handed out, so Mattock was like my level 1 Harrier before I got Harrier and used it a lot. Once maxed manifest happened overnight, I finally started putting in a lot more time into the UR weapons since they were finally maxed. Then I slowly started forgetting about the Mattock and Revenant, my first true loves. Sadly.
Tried to get back into playing the Mattock on my new PS3 account again, but it's not working so well anymore. I'm a lot lazer now. Need to get a PS4 turbofire gamepad instead of the PS3 turbofire gamepad I have, because I can't aim with PS3 analog sticks and I don't want to adjust since PS4 & 360 analog sticks are very close to each other for when I bounce between these two consoles.
Revenant is best on the Destroyer by a longshot, but the PS3 account is holding out on the only other kit I still need; the Destroyer. So my hopes remain crushed. Fun fact about the Revenant. It was my first maxed rare and most used rare prior and some time after maxing it. Me really loving it in ME2 helped too. The two weaknesses of the Revenant is that it's really needs to be used on high combat walk speed kits and/or close quarter kits/accuracy boosting kits. And the Destroyer is the only one with both of these features. Why he's the Revenant king!
I prefer saber and valkyrie to all four mentioned.
so you pick tiny missiles that do nothing but pew pew over #MURCA crowd control power?
can you link me your build, plz?
I alternate between no missiles, no frags, or just choose both. And I see nothing wrong with either of these builds.

What crowd is that? The Sinful crowd?

Valkyrie is a monster if you can land the headshots consistently. I like to give that to the T-Sol and watch him cut things to ribbons with TEXTBOOK precision.
