LOL No wonder you were feeling burned out. What is that, at least six runs in one day? I like to play my main game, and this challenge is just a side-dish for entertainment purposes.
They didn't take all that long to record. One was my first try, another my second. That's 3 right there for 2/3 of my videos. Seeing as a run takes a maximum of 15 minutes... not that much bad. What burned me out was your changing your argument and claiming mine was flawed whenever I proved my point. Far too much of my time invested for that.
Problem is how to use it good in general. Flaws of cool beats are connected not with skill itself but with usability problems around it. Where I have answer for it?
Those videos was a e-peens show off, even if snake or drasca does not think that way. There nothing new in them, nothing helpful for new players in them and nothing which can help other player to play game/class better.
In general, don't wade into large groups like I do. Usually when I broadcast, I explicitly tell people not to use the virtuoso as I do, because it just does not work that way without lots of promotions. CB is meant to be used at range while standing close to your party so you can keep buffing them.
As for it being e-peen... no doubt about it. If you actually read the first few pages, I was hesitant to accept his challenge because I saw no benefit to the community.
You've missed the whole point of Yarpen's arguement. It isn't about SB, but what he does and argues. CB isn't the end-all-be-all that SB proposes. I challenged SB so both of us put up video so we all benefit
Snake's Arguments:
- CB is not flawed in the way Drasca claimed/claims.
- CB can do loads of damage.
When I entered the conversation, it looked like Drasca was putting PC forth as the be-all-end-all of virtuoso DPS. In fact, his immediate reaction when I said I have lots of success with CB was that I play old maps on threatening, because... you know... CB is useless.
