Once I get CB out it ticks for long enough and does enough damage that I swim in encores. I can't get out enough CB even while spamming the button so often that I lose some encores due to gaining another before I can use my old ones. I hardly ever find myself auto-attacking anyway.
This post says encore is bugged in general. It never makes mention of it being specifically bugged due to CB. In fact, in your own clip, you can see PC stealing your encores right out from under you nose while still eating your mana.

Drasca knows he's owned my butt since the one time I tried to correct a build of his and he crushed me without remorse.
Drascas always right. Spirit damage isn't affected by magic defense. Cool beats doesnt trigger encore. Cool beats can be blocked. The list goes on, even despite (fake) video evidence showing otherwise!

CB definitely works better Solo than in Team for Encore. My teammates would never leave weakened enemies alive like that.

There are a few points I have taken away form this.
1) Cool Beats is amazing. I will use this in my next Virtuoso build.
2) You both take a disgustingly small amount of damage (this is not the point of doing the videos I understand, I'm just jelly).
Snakebite is currently winning, since drasca doesn't know how to read and did his solo on elven ruins and not ya know, thunderdome map.

I consoled myself by doing threatening solo with cool beats. And then with power chord. Both with lvl 20 zither. Did not take much damage either and times were similar for both at about 20 minutes.
