There are a few points I have taken away form this.

 

1) Cool Beats is amazing. I will use this in my next Virtuoso build.

2) You both take a disgustingly small amount of damage (this is not the point of doing the videos I understand, I'm just jelly).

 

That's why I was saying this challenge will not benefit the community.  Most people can't play in this way and survive.  I have a ridiculous amount of constitution and cunning, and fortifying arpeggio gets insane once my CB encores get going.  That, plus Blood Frenzy ramping up damage when you get low on health keeps you topped off with HoK fairly well.

I would argue it benefited the community. You provided evidence that PC and Encore aren't working correctly on Xbox One and crushed the ill-guided thought process that because of power-chord's existence cool beats is useless.

This thread is entertaining, but ultimately irrelevant. I have already ascertained the ultimate Zither! build.
All other builds are inferior.

No, you will not get as many encores, but the beauty of CB is that you only need to cast 3 and you are outputting as much damage as a PC, leaving you to find new targets while regenerating mana.  Fire and Forget.

 

I have played a level 7 virtuoso in a room with ******* as a level 19 Avvar and a mid-level Duelist before, still came out in first place, only having a few mana issues.  Before you say the others were not pulling weight, both are in the top 50 on Xbox one, and just the other day ******* carried 2 level ones and a PUG level 8 archer to victory on a high dragon (perilous of course) without any issues.

***Names have been changed to protect those that are still very competent, but no match for CB, players.***

 

The moral of the story is that CB hits everything, all the time, for a lot of damage, and does not require encore to be sustainable.

There no such thing to demonstrate here, PC wins hands down. It works better when playing in group.

While this video is old, predating both the avvar buff and the T3 weapon upgrades, the point is made that a single player, or combination of players, can one or two shot every mob in sight before CB does damage.

 

I am liking CB more now than I was before though, so thanks.

I have yet to do a low level Elven Ruins run, but this is what I was able to get last night.

I think they agreed that they could use the other move. He could have extracted without ever using power chord but he would sometimes use it as a dispel or as a finisher from time to time.
