I played some games last night and while I was slightly drunk(seriously, is there another way to play?), I wasn't that drunk.

 

In any case, first game was with AA and naturally, I gave her geth scanner. For the next game, I changed to drell vanguard and equipped grenade capacity. I think the scanner was unchecked when I left the equipment screen, but I'm not sure.

 

In any case, when I got into the game, I got the benefits of both items. Which meant I was running around with nine grenades and wallhack As if drellgod wasn't OP enough... this truly was drellgod!

 

Come the end of the match, I checked and sure enough, both mods were checked in the equipment list.

 

I'm a PS3 scrub, so no modding was involved. Happened to anybody before?

So i can tell from your post that you played the drellgod without ammo, weapon or armour gear. Cos you would only be able to equip 2 of the 3, cos you gearbonus was already holding 2 slots so to speak.

I had this one time on XBox with Grenade Capacity and Warfighter Gear

 

I think it has something to do with host migration but one time in 3 years is pretty sporadic.

Well, it was Silver... But yeah, no other consumables were used

Had this once with my Drell adept. I usually run GS on him, and switched to that after playing a nade dependent kit. Got both in-game.

 

We did have a host migration in the lobby though (we successfully kicked biggs).

I can't remember for sure, but I don't recall it being "active" during the subsequent game(s).

Has happened to me before on Xbox as well.. i was using Grenade gear...then switched to Geth Scanner on the same character and I got both bonuses in the next match.

Ha, If only I could have wallhax on my arcnade bros. That would be dirty. But no, I don't use the scanner much unless running drill or innate piercing snipers.

Plus I always put something in each box even when messing about in silver. May as well use all that level 1 crap.

Really, as long as you have SOMETHING, you'll perform a lot better

 

I don't get guys that have Rank X Rare or Ultra Rares and no equipment, or Explosive/Cryo Ammo only.  Surely with that many packs purchased they've got something to equip.  What are they saving it for

I've had some weird **** where TAC scan left skins all over the map. Freakish **** I've ever seen. Never had the glitch with grenade gear and geth scanner though.

^ Hey, using level 1 stuff is one thing that got all my higher level consumables up within range of that nice odd number of 255 for my 360. The account where I choose whatever I want, whenever I want. TOTAL FREEDOM!!... then retirement, lol.

 

On PS3 it don't matter that I use level 1 consumables. As all the pugs are in the same boat as me. It's cool! I love PS3 pugs!

Don't remember how to trigger it, I think there's a couple different ways, have to Google it later, but I've had it happen once on PC. You can still just have four items equipped, so say you had gear, two gun amps, and ammo, you can't equip an armor amp after that.

I think when I did it it was because of some kind of host migration thing like mentioned before, here's a girlsplaygame page I found on how to do it that lists four methods but none of them involve migration so maybe there's five methods? Some of these she mentions look like they're on console so may or may not work on pc? Maybe we have to experiment and try it out? http://www.girlplays...-the-same-time/

This confirms my theory that virtual sacrifices are capable of granting instant gratification.

I want both Geth Scanner and Grenade Capacity for my Cabal. She's the only kit I feel that needs both.

I want to just be able to throw GIs at enemies. We need a GI Capacity V.
