My last manual save says it's a landmark save. 60 hours in, and it's the first time I've seen it. What is it?

You should have seen it often as it is a method to save the "memory" of the characters related to your decisions.

I think a landmark save is an autosave that happens whenever you start or finish (forgot which one) a major plot quest.

No... It's a manual save, I can promise it. It's a save made right before talking to bull about the chargers-qunari quest, one I manually made just in case it became an actual conversation with approval changes.

Er, that's weird. I have no explanation then, sorry. I can only guess that maybe your manual save overwrote a previous landmark save and kept the "title". Otherwise, no idea.

A landmark save is an auto-save prior to starting story-based missions. Kind of like Mass Effect's "Restart Mission" option. It may have been made at exactly the same time you made a manual save, or glitched out, but it isn't a manual save.
It saved when you start a story-based mission, but makes the save outside of the War Room, so you're never put in a position where you're locked into a situation that you can't win.

So you think it autosaved pretty much right after my manual one, and I mistook the manual and auto one because the auto one has the same time my manual one would have been expected to have? Plausible. I do recall times where it seems the auto save happens pretty much right after my manual save... Usually just irritates me, but maybe that's what is going on when it does that. I always manually save right before starting a mission, so I guess I've been confusing my manual and landmarks saves this whole time? Maybe?
