Don't understand what you're asking for?
OP must be a con artist
if all you have is constitution gear then by all means wear it, but for the love of god don't put constitution on your dragon maul.

Tastes legit.

This!
The Avvar damage output is great, especially with the Dragon Maul. I don't think it will hurt much to put some extra Con as an upgrade, especially for low Con players that are having problems staying alive.
This post sounds like the title of a Nicolas Cage fantasy action film

Winner
So with your promotes and those bonuses you have an extra 300 HP and 30% extra melle defence if you wanted that good. I'd rather go for damage.

This.... to really succeed as an Avvar... you need to be a highly mobile, explosive ordinance weapon. Constantly moving, constantly slaughtering...Eternal war!

You sir, understand "What Is Your Profession!"

I think the maul is more than enough HOK personally
I put everything else on %attack and crit damage ![]()

Lets be honest. In this game (the MP) its 100% of the time considered to be playing ANY of the 15 character types, you'll have HoK gear. Be it a ring, weapon (skill in the form of Ele+Necro) to be playing efficiently and/or effectively. Editing text to state the obvious is obvious and redundant.
The OP made mention he's using a Purple Dragon Maul as well as a 10% HoK Ring. There was no reason nor madness evident to suggest your post was required.
Frankly, he put an additional 5% on his maul (which I think was a waste of cotton tbh), the CON he placed on it, if he's really hurting for melee defence is useful, but there are better alternatives. If his CUN is low, crit chance would have been a better replacement for the CON or HoK on the maul. Killing quicker/more efficiently creates more HoK then an additional 5% ever will. 20%~ is more then enough, 5 kills to a full HP bar.
Yeah, like was said above. If you're doing enough damage, you can spec out other things like con, cunning, HoK, and so on. You'll realize for yourself which is more beneficial pretty quickly I bet.
I run a ton on heal of kill on my Avvar (not on my weapon), because I am still killing quickly without damage boosts.

I agree. The level 24 Dragon Maul is crazy powerful. I don't see the need to buff it further to play Perilous. I personally run the Axe of the Dragonhunter on my Avvar, just because I love the design and the feeling of it. Sometimes I also use the Sulevin. Granted I have high stats, but newer players should be able to use the Dragon Maul with defense-oriented upgrades just fine.

Wasn't there a letter like this one in your correspondence in Dragon Age 2? I'm pretty sure there was one.

SV may not be fan of overkill, but I certainly am.
I like to play whack a mole with the maul doing 1.2-1.5k on basic attacks, basically two shotting most weak enemies if not one shotting almost every enemy via abilities. Hop hop hop and kill.
I recently played Katari post T3 and Maul of the Dragon era. I had not previously played Katari in a long time with all these damage upgrades. It is hilariously fun to CB through Perilous as if it were routine/threatening, bowling through all enemies as if they were pins because CB will just knock them down and destroy them alone.
All aboard the Katari pain train, choo choo!
