I say the Company of Heroes you can create via the war table and a few minor quests theres a few of them ones a shy dwarven rogue, human warrior, elven rogue or possibly mage he reminds me of solas but less smart and so on its easy to use characters from companies as they're minor and easy to obtain like if you look at DA:O and DA2 theres a few merc and bandit companies.

I think all of the characters could be open to use.  It's not like there aren't several pretty heavy hitters that could be dead in many players' games floating around in the single player.  We're talking about what is essentially a fun addition to the core single player experience.  If Leliana is alive for everyone and they bothered making resources to show off Alistair and others, then we can have anyone who is not definitively dead in their canon. 

 

As an addition, I just want more characters.  I don't even care much if they are glorified re-skins as long as they have new banter and a unique look.  Of course, I don't want all of the characters to be that way because I love new mechanics too, but it would be nice to have a larger roster.  Please don't avoid making a character because someone is already essentially using most of their abilities.  I am probably in the minority here, but so be it.    I can't customize them in (edit: any) significant way, so I can only hope that Bioware gives me more options.

Well, Morrigan,as shapeshifter. Now that every attack connects despite of the attributes someone habe, the attack frorm magic and willpower would be transformed to critical damage and cunning in the case of a spider,as an example.

This would be awesome, but she had specific "weapons" that can't be used by any other character, so I don't think it will happen. Just like the mabari, it sounds cool, but probably undoable with the game's weapons system.

Yes, please. We all miss the blood magic from the 2 previous games, it would be great to have it back in the multiplayer.

 

And if they add another S&S warrior, like other people suggested, a grey warden would make perfect sense.

Shale would be awesome and easy. All they'd have to do it use her model and anims from origins as a base, vamp them up to 2015 standard, attach the 'weapon' she uses to her back a la Zither! And let her punch stuff. For armor? Just make her a 'super' crystal model for her upgrade. Ta da.
