Mmm , I just left a game , the map with the dragon on perillous ...because well something strange happened.

The whole party had a guard bar+ barrier on.

I think there were me (Aw) a Zither guy , another AW , and maybe a necro.

I noticed one party member had the guard going down but it went right  back up.

 

In doubt , I thought maybe it was a spell I didn't know about , I stood in the dragon fire away from the Zither , the barrier wasn't going down.

So I left the match.

First time I see something like this.

They talked about it quite openly, called it a trainer, and said it only worked if they were hosting the game. Gross -.- I've been quick matched into their lobbies a few times since and get out as fast as I can.

Well it's a bit annoying ,  I went from "yeah dragon perilous maybe I'm gonna get some loots" to "Oh crap what the hell is going on in here , I don't want to get my account banned."

In no way you will get banned. No even the most overt cheaters are banned from Bioware multiplayer games, let alone those who merely land in hacked lobbies.

It's actually the Rally ability, it gives everyone in the party guard. There's even an ability ring for it.

No, it's actually a cheat.  Had a couple of games tonight where I was getting full guard, and full barrier, on my alchemist.  The only common denominator was the Avvar player, who does not have the Rally ability, or any other ability that gives the full party either guard, nor barrier.  Let alone both.  The player's name was Pharmegil.

I met a guy who's using the duelist in a PUG. She's not taken a bit of damage for the whole match even though we warrior and mage players barely made it through Fereldan Castle.

What I would have done, is to just stay in the match and I will just walk off and do something else in real life then come back every once a while to move around and kinda say "hey I'm still here don't kick me just yet" and then hope that sometime later you notice the match was over and you just got an extra blank from the poor dragon who's getting abused over and over.

 

Want to try that next time when I step into a lobby like this.

Well if its a good duelist then that is completely possible.
