I just went into to the fade and got my memories back and when I get to sky hold blackwall isn't there he's still in the map and he is available for missions but he won't show up. Can anyone please help me?

I've heard that it's part of his but sadly I've gone to val royeaux and looked for one of lelianas agents but I still can't find him

Is this when he is hanging out by the wood pile in front of the barn? If you haven't heard his dog story yet, that's where he is.

If he's available for missions (selectable in the party select screen) he hasn't disappeared for his personal plot and it may be a bug--his card goes dark when he runs off plotwise.

Check the barn. He leaves a note i think(?) And a dude should come tell you that he went to val royeaux.

After Adamant he should be outside the barn.

I don't think he tells the story, which means he wouldn't leave unless his approval was really low. I think that only happens after an argument though.

 

OP hasn't reported back if Blackwall was hanging out in front of the barn. His outfit is kind of the same color as the surroundings, so it makes him hard to see.

Blackwall's personal quest has not yet begun. What is happening is that Skyhold is not loading fully before the Inquisitor spawns. If you go to the stables, you'll probably find that his woodworking project hasn't spawned yet, either. If you're as unlucky as I was the other day, Cullen and Josephine may also be MIA. And once, I had the misfortune to have Josephine, Cullen, Blackwall, Varric, Vivienne, all of their personal effects, and the entire undercroft fail to populate. The throne, curtains, and decor were all gone. The place looked as if the Inquisitor missed a few payments and the repo truck took everything away.

 

Reloading a save won't help. You have to travel to another map and then travel back. Everyone should be where they belong then.
