I just got the long bow of the griffin and I'm wondering if there is a bow better than this one?

Bow of the Dragon. Lv 24 Unique Bow. 
175 dmg, 41% attack, 7% crit. chance and 8% heal on kill.

 

 

It's better for distance combat.

Crafted bows could also be better (Tier 3 and 4). And there are a couple in the JoH DLC that may compare favorably:

best (in MP) are:

unique Bow of the Dragon

Punished by the Maker

Longbow of the Griffon (best for the Hunter imho)

Bow of Cruel Redemption

I use punched by the maker for both the archer and hunter, the odd time I will use Griffon.  My pbtm has 33% heal on kill right now though so that is just too good in most cases to swap for the griffon.

Enjoy griffon until you get punched. You'll only go back when you are hipster huntering
