^ But Dark Channel jumps to other nearby enemies so you don't have to stop firing to prime next enemy and just keep on shooting. Since PPR has quite the long ramp up. Why I said ultimately this weapon would also work great on Justicar due to area reave cabable of primming an entire spawn for PPR with Warp Ammo 4 melting. Not to mention that area stagger of Reave - Makes me feel like a Jedi waving my force hand instead of the Terminator I am.
Shooting while lazering is also somewhat affected by Combat Walk Speed too. Can you still dodge butt lazers, prime/scion/ravager shots while holding the trigger on the PPR with her? Otherwise I disagree, since letting go of the trigger gives you bigger straf boost for much easier enemy fire strafing
Also I'm not trying to disparage the Valkyrie here.
Dark Channel isn't as good of a primer as it might seem on paper. You can't control where it jumps (if it does), yet target prioritization is important - especially if you want to usa RHA to your advantage.
Reave, on the other hand, is an excellent primer against grouped mooks, and Justicar is a good kit for PPR use.
However, both of these issues are somewhat irrelevant. You don't need to prime mooks. PPR melts mooks in the blink of an eye anyway. You want to prime bosses. Warp does that just fine, and unlike DC and Reave, it has a significant debuff effect (and not just for you, but for the entire team).
@ "shooting while lazering"
No, you can't dodge while firing the PPR, but with good awareness and spacing you can still avoid all kinds of enemy fire, including everything you mentioned. Every time you have to stop firing prematurely in order to dodge, roll or enter hard cover, you've done something wrong.
Many people claim that PPR is an "easy mode" weapon, which is true in a sense that it's indeed powerful, but they often fail to realize that using it effectively and safely requires excellent fundamentals skills, i.e. awareness, timing, spacing and aim. For them those things are a second nature, but new players either get themselves killed when using PPR or simply fail to use it effectively at all.
Anyway, PPR Valkyrie is something I recommend everyone should try at some point, it's my favourite Valkyrie build. At the moment I'm using Claymore on her, though.
