My thinking was trying to make Warp into a more potent kill shot. The TA power bonus + power mag + consumable(s) made it easier to finish off Scions, Ravagers, turrets, et al without requiring full line-of-sight.
Although I did a more 'unique' Warp build on my GalSent...built with BEs as focus 100% of time. Was likely to try the Falcon on her.
You would need like a 500% power damage bonus to make Warp worthwhile like that. Warp is good as a primer and a debuff (with Expose). If you think of it as direct damage you will be frustrated. The max damage it does with as much power damage buff as possible is 700. CAT has 1687.5 health on Gold. That 700 is boosted against armor or barriers with multipliers, but armor is usually in the several thousands to tens of thousands range.

Definitely. It's basically just with barriers and armor in mind. Like if a damaged Bomber is still about to plop over a teammate...I can generally instakill it with a beefed up Warp. Else ripping the barrier from a Poss'd Trooper (and priming him for the boom). Stuff like that.

As for Phantoms, shoot them to make them flip and as they are flipping (rapid fire weapon are excellent for that) - Warp them, then shoot some more and as they are flipping again - Throw. Another thing is to get into the range with the Fantums as I call an eye of the tornado. Your basic instincs say to back away from them to avoid sync-kill, but you have to do the opposite, close distance. There's a gap there, where she won't pew pew as much and won't slash her sword at you. Get there and Talon, Wraith her face.
BTW, how close is this gap? Like just out of sword swipe range?

My Scorpion is at a III, so it'll definitely be light enough.
I've never thought about taking passives through 6a for the weapon weight.
if you've got this much CC capability, do you ever say screw the TA and go full fitness? I like the power damage boost to not take my TA through at least 5 for casters...for the most part. But CC, power mags, and consumables could make it moot.
The options on Human Sentinel generally make Adren or Cyclonic the go to options, generally with either of those but especially Cyclonic a mix of fitness and DR from Tech Armor is a better bargain for higher effective health. Power Amp isn't going to get you much on Warp or throw damage and it doesn't increase force. You might look at both Tech Armor recharge and power buff and take off a few points out of passives and still get a better CD? Also you don't have to have throw or warp maxed.

That's a legit strat. Lone survivor of an escort vs Cerbs is GONNA get piled-on. I should have had that bad boy in hand...
This setup I posted in another thread works wonders in this scenario. Shoot the Dragoon first then Warp for the TB. Shoot at something else then detonate the Warp.

Okay what I was saying about warp/throw maxing them out. You don't have to go all in on those powers but you absolutely do want the modifiers, a thousand force is also nice on throw to stagger phantoms but you do have the LOLscorpion. The 6+6 explosion is nice but it's not that much powerful than a 6+1 as long as you have the modifers on the power. So if you think you need more fitness/DR you can go deeper into those trees by foregoing warp evo 6, possibly even evo 5 but I like the debuff of that on, you could also forego evo 6 on throw it you wanted.

Would you try to get the Phantom to bubble-up first for breathing room? Or do you not want anything to get in the way of TB damage?

The TB gets all the humanoids to stop moving for a moment or two (Dragoons too iirc), so I'd ignore them. You should in theory be able to get two TBs off and then a BE to kill everything.

Warp/Throw then Tech Armor if you get in there close enough..the Tech Armor even takes out his drones. I really like using the Hornet on the Human Sentinel with Warp Ammo. ( or Incid ammo )

^^^^^^^^^^ I do use the Stabilizer mod along with High Velocity Barrel and Warp ammo for the Hornet...I dont put on any Stabilizing consumables on ...
