It has been floating around for a while now. I'm kind of on the fence, but here's the most recent video on the subject:

 

 

Rockstar's official stance is that the Police AI were not programmed to use racial or economic profiling. And yet, I confess, I could see Rockstar/The Hausers tweaking the numbers during development to add a layer of controversy for the PR. And, if the analysis done in the video is accurate, then the profiling being simulated would be fairly consistent with their real world counterparts, in terms of how they break down by neighbourhood.

 

If nothing else, the team that did the testing spent twenty hours on it, so they deserve some kudos for taking the time to test and assemble data.

You seem upset. I don't even know who "we all" are, to be honest, since there are only three people posting in the thread. Or, for that matter, what you are trying to describe as "pathetic." I'm looking at the subject from the point of view of curiosity, so the instant decrying of the question strikes me as odd and unprovoked.

I don't know much about the people who made the video, but they did make it clear their results could be explained by RNG, albeit very coincidentally. What I know about the Housers is actually what makes me pause and say, "Yeah... I could see them doing it. Subtly."

I'd be more concerned with the fact that even if you stand still with no weapon in your hand they shoot to kill. At least they're more fun than the police in Puerto Rico.
