Zeta was fine actually. The problem were those ridiculous aliens with shields. Even wih stealthy critical attack, it took forever to kill them. Not even deathclaw gauntled worked on them, considering it's supposed to ignore DR.

I guess it was because I used their guns that gave one hit kill lol.

Can't wait to kill a bunch of aliens and steal their guns. I can only hope the PS4 can run Bethesda games better than the PS3

I know in Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas, the character can use a knife or a sword to fight the enemy, but I wouldn't mind having a bow. I know in New Vegas a silencer can be used for your sniper rilfe, but I would like to sneak around using a bow. Customize the arrow to have an exploding tip like in the movie Rambo 2

Yep, they should included bow and crossbow gameplay into post-apocalyptia. You are in a large crowd of those recommending. I've seen this request here, on Bethsoft forums and elsewhere. I would also like to see dual wielding with pistols or pistol with one-handed melee. Probably would be an issue with VATS, but then again if the game read you dual wielding, I don't think it would be all that difficult to make the mechanic switch between hands/weapons.

I would also love to have a bow in the game, with custom arrows. I think it makes sense from a post-apocalyptic standpoint, not sure if it fits Fallout lore though. Bethesda are also quite competent on bow gameplay, it was great in both Oblivion and Skyrim.

They definitely have the chops to do it...the whole slow time perk in Skyrim worked great as an assist if one needed it. Crossbows would be a logical addition for sneak-types, and they proved they could do it in Dawnguard, which was added on top of vanilla Skyrim. Speaking of which, if they aren't going to include functioning vehicles, why not add horses to FO? Yet another add-on on top of vanilla Skyrim. Are they all dead? Mutated into some horrible abomination? Hell, I'd ride a two-headed horse if it meant me cutting some time running over miles and miles of open terrain!

Yep.

There are a lot of motorcycles, pickup trucks, and cars in New Vegas that just looked ready to get fixed up and off road modified.

So apparently this picture:

is lead to believe by a youtube video i watched recently that there will be an alien presence in Fallout 4. The video also had some clips with you battling them in Fallout 4. So that is cool to know we will be having an Alien presences, I just hope they are not a 1-hit kill like they were on Zeta lol.

I fully expect alien involvement in the story. Perhaps they are linked with the high technology of the Institute and the androids. FO fully plays into the late 40's/50's hysteria of nuclear war AND alien abduction/contact, and Zeta made aliens canon (which a lot of the hardcores are none too happy about), so they're probably here to stay. They were even present in New Vegas as long as the Wild Wasteland trait was taken.

So, yeah, we'll see aliens. I really could use some alien epoxy anyway.

And probably one of the most requested add-ons to the FO universe that I've seen...I mean it's great, I can blow that long finned ugly @$$ piece of nuclear trash sky high, but all I really want is to be able to just drive one to the northwest corner of the map.

I started up another New Vegas playthrough to finally side with the Legion (as a female Courier, why not?) and I just looked at the pickup in Goodsprings and got sad how I couldn't collect some metal boxes, ammo boxes and some lockers and weld them to the bed for a mobile storehouse, which in that situation that's exactly what I would do.

Funny you say that, I am in FO3 right now, and looked at all the engine blocks laying around, and was thinking, hmmm, now if I have a repair skill of 100, why can't I get that thing running with a little flamer fuel...a welder, some tools, an engine block, some scrap metal and spare parts...drop it in a truck hulk...sheesh, I could roll for days out in the wild. Parts and know-how are limited in the DC Wastes granted, but maybe not so much up north. Maybe they'll have functioning air compressors up there as well.

IDK why. We have aliens from all the way back to FO1. FO3 only diference is that we meet them alive.

You know what I would like? Space battles with power armor. Maybe some anti gravity elements.

Mothership Zeta was by far the worse F3 DLC.

Hated it.

I like Mothership Zeta and I guess it made sense for it to screw up getting the Alien Blaster until you completed it.

I didn't do most DLC until pretty late. I think I did Anchorage pretty early though. Which is worth it.

I get power suit training before i do Anchorage, but i believe in being OP so Zeta always goes first plus i get the level i need  to get my house in Megaton lol. I always forget to put 25 points on explosives.

i play on ps3, you gotta rely on VATS for every kill lol.

New Vegas was the first to have good aiming and not making VATS so heavily relied on.

I thought it was an funny parody of call of duty, or any FPS ever.

But the rewards were totally worth it. Gauss rifle was my baby.

It did feel like every modern FPS ever, but if it was a parody, most of the jokes went over my head. :(

Anchorage was worth it for the Gauss Rifle, also it did flesh out the Outcasts abit more, but it hardly did anything with them. Shame that. I still think Point Lookout and The Pitt are the most solid DLC's, but i did enjoy all the characters in Mothership Zeta.
