I liked it better than Operation Anchorage. That one was boring.
The only DLC I was a fan of was The Pitt. The rest I didn't like.

I'm probably one of the few who actually like Broken Steel...nothing quite like an orbital strike. Of course, I had to come to terms with the fact that Liberty Prime would never be a companion....without mods.
When Liberty got shot down, I was like, "a minute of silence for the fallen".
Then the brotherhood of steel guy came and told me to do all the work (like aways), and then all I could think of was "Wow, rude, show some respect for the dead man! There are people in mourning here."

In loving memory of LIBERTY PRIME! Our bleeding eardrums and patriotic feelings will never forget him!
He would've been a great help against those crazy, inbred rednecks in the swamps. I would've appreciated his nuke chucking against that +dmg of those hillbillies.
I need to play Fallout 3 more and quit watching Anime so much, it keeps eating up my time before work lol. I been on Mothership Zeta for a week or two because of my obsessive watching of anime
Are the Mothership Zeta aliens supposed to be the same ones that the military knew about from before the war? I forget exactly where it is, but I think maybe on the Citadel somewhere, there's a terminal where the military documents finding a crashed spaceship or something.
If they are, I can't help but wonder what they're doing still hanging around Earth 200 years later. You'd think one catastrophic global nuclear war would be enough to convince them that humans aren't worth the trouble. ![]()
As far as I'm concerned, Mothership Zeta is non-canon. Not only for the "aliens" cause behind the Great War but for the implications after the expansion.

Well, we never do find out what they were after. Maybe they just like torturing humans? ![]()
Anchorage was boring, but at least you get the stealth suit, power armor, and gauss gun out of it. All of the alien weapons were pretty sucky. A huge let-down after the alien blaster.

I find it funny how the best weapon from a DLC about aliens is a 19th century revolver.
There's also Alien epoxy which is pretty useful if you use rare items.

Ha, yeah. Something wrong when shirtless, oral hygiene deficient, inbred pumpkin heads deal out more damage with knives, axes, and double barrels, and can take more DAM than up-armored "Enclave bastards" with energy weapons. ![]()

Or how a bunch of drugged tribals can take on all of the wasteland's super mutants and raiders.

I'm going to have to disagree. The fact the Swampfolk were so strong added to the horror vibe of the DLC. First time I played it, I remember being genuinely afraid to walk deep into that hellish swamp.
Sure, lorewise it makes little sense but since there are Lovecraftian elements at play and the fact the Swampfolk worship whatever dark entity controls that area, I'm just going to believe there were supernatural elements contributing to their strenght.
And that rifle you get there just sucked bad.

Eh, might be FOOK2 upgraded the weaponry a bit compared to vanilla, but hot damn the Backwater Rifle was awesome.

I actually did that DLC recently.
Those rednecks BROKE my Winterized T51-b Power Armor using Civil War era firearms and knives! ![]()
And let's not talk about how many plasma bolts to the head they were taking...

I think my Winterized t51-b somehow got the simulation version... it hasnt taken any damage... Playing it on the 360 so not much I can do about it, not that I really want to mind, since its really useful against those nutters in Point Lookout.

I don't know how you managed it. the T51-b is supposed to be unbreakable due to the ridiculous health it has. Literally it nearly haves 10 million HP points.

I thought that was the simulation version only?
I thought that was the simulation version only?
It's an bug. It causes the wasteland version of the armor to have the same HP ammount as the simulation version. Thus making it indestructible. Bethesda never fixed that bug, so it remained part of the game.
